"Well, first of all, this map is over 30 years old, so some roads may no longer be in use, but I can tell you where some roads do go, from where, and about each area."
Eetu clears his throat and places a finger on the territory marked Bogudani, "I figure you would be best to know the dangers of this island—You've no doubt heard of these... animals... The Bogudani are a semi-nomadic people that worship a demon of this island, Ayyuxta. I caution you..." He lifts his hand from the map, gesturing to Theric. "Stay away at all costs. They have cast aside their humanity and will seek out any of the chosen, or any of their choosing, to take part in a 'Ceremony of Glory', which really means they will drag you down to Vextiwa, run you through with 13 spears, drain you of your blood, wait for Ayyuxta to claim your soul, and then consume the flesh left behind." His serious eyes fade to grim. "Please, do not do to the dark lands—the lands they inhabit. You will not find mercy there."
He takes a moment to catch his breath. "Next, the Virani." He points to the Virani settlement on the map, "They are perhaps the most saintly of the peoples on this island. They worship Mirisham, the god of this island. While they will surely be hospitable and kind, it be best to not let the Bogudani find out, for you will become their chosen. While they are certainly a willing friend, we dare not be their ally, else we would invoke the wrath of the Bogudani."
He places his finger on the settlement marked Nilkami, "The Nilkami are industrious and hard-working. The ongoing wars between their northern neighbors have seen collateral, thus, they have toughened their armies, built walls, and are steadfast in preventing war from spreading southward."
"Then, finally, the Khalimi. They are a war-thirsty breed who do not much like outsiders. They will happily kill any savage from their north, but the enemy of our enemy is not necessarily our friend. They don't seem to like the other peoples much at all, so I can only wish you good luck should you have to deal with them."
"Do you have any other questions?"
