shirt & face decals aren't showing

I've got a problem with blockland (comp from 2009 that i haven't used since like 2011)
my shirt and face decals aren't showing and they don't come up when i try to select one
can anybody help me?

Step 1: Install non-steam Blockland
Step 2: Navigate to Blockland/base/data/shapes/player
Step 3: Relocate face.ifl and decal.ifl to the steam version in the folder of the same name
Step 4: Win

are you on a Mac? if so i know a helping video

That's a temporary workaround, not a solution. Seems his blockland is unable to write files.

Some Mac's have trouble writing files when using the Steam version. This has been brought up by Dannu many times but neither Badspot or Rotondo is willing to fix it.

this worked for me, also fixes the preferences problem.

there is absolutely nothing that could damage blockland if you do it right, ive tried it on both yosemite and el capitan
