Captain Forever - ship-building roguelike

Captain Forever is a ship-building roguelike with vector-esque graphics and tough as nails difficulty.

This is your command module. If it dies, you die.


The main aspect of the game is taking different from fallen ships and upgrading your ship with them using a very dynamic building system.


Combat is pretty straightforward. You press space to fire your lasers, and they destroy what they hit. The location of thrusters matters, and you shouldn't be surprised that your ship with thrusters on only one side can't go straight.


Being a roguelike, death is permanent. You die, you start all over from the beginning.

Oh man, I loved this game, played it a ton a year or three ago. I like how you can get enemies to kill each other. I might post pics of ships I build up soon.
