Plutonium shields, swords, whatever are just there to make you look rich. They serve no value. I kind of like the gold sets more.

Garage Games doesn't publish every game that uses Torque. While that would be a great choice not many games are being published at GG lately. It's like the rules have changed yet..no one knows them. Last  I heard Lego wanted to. I'm sure Eric Hartman can clarify who.

EDIT: And there's one thing that makes me think Lego still wants to publish it. He's using Lego on the bricks as opposed to "Blocko"

Umm...Oregon..why? Are you into game development? It's not really a casual thing. It's about $250 now I think.

Ah cool. Not sure if you remember but I was that kid who played that 3rd person shooter game you had running. Fun stuff.

Hmm? Blockland retail was playable last IGC. It wasn't in beta but it was neat.

Retail was pretty neat remembering it from last year's indie games con. Lots of fun to play. I can't wait to see what will happen with it in the future.

Also have it so a House comes with 5 Spare keys (not including the owners key) You can give them to freinds or such..When the keys in your inventory..You can open the door..And guild houses come with about 15-20 keys.

pointless and obvious thing to post...

On lighting, telling teh interior NOT to light has teh purpose of preventing massive lag, although it would affect only those who log in while said houseowner wasn't in-game so its pointless.

I don't think you understand..if an interior doesn't light then it's completely black. No texture detail, nothing. Black. And when you reconnect it would light anyway. So adding in code so relight was optional would only keep it black. Does that make sense?

Badspot is working on two games. That means he pays half the attention to both.

Do you still wonder why there are a lack of updates? I know other RPGs that are updated considerably less frequently. Not that I can name them off the top of my head or something.

As do i im just saying its nice to KNOW what hes working on at the time and whats stopping him from doing work. I mean he does have a life and i dont say we need to know all about it but he could be more personable.

Yeah...

And about the lighting mission..When the House Owner logs out..The lights turn off.

It doesn't work like that at all. :P

Dur... well ACTUALLY... uhmmm... too damn hard to think of how you could use physical region markers(like teh "Port Town" box to tell teh client YOU DONT HAVE TO LIGHT THIS, and lighting isnt lights its shadow generation, with the night-day cycle thing i thing BS can make the lighting do ANYTHING though(as in get teh server and client to light / not light various things)

There's really nothing to tell an interior not to light. If it doesn't light then it is completely black.

It would, it just wouldn't really work in the long run. It's kind of like communism: It's an awesome idea, it just doesn't work with the masses.

About the houses idea..That's an awesome idea except that houses would be best as interiors. That means more to light on connection to the server. Also, what would happen once all the houses were bought? More would have to be created which means more lighting to do. Eventually you'd run into A) a memory leak B) a game that took 5 minutes to finish "Lighting Mission" C) A horrible framerate if they were all placed near each other
