Sulfate's Minecraft Server
---ABOUT---
This is NOT A 24/7 SERVER however it will be hosted at least 8 hours per day
(weekdays: 4PM-12PM, weekends 4PM-2AM) <-- times listed in Central
This is a bukkit server for people interested in any kind of gameplay.
This server currently runs Minecraft 1.8.1 and CraftBukkit RB 1337
This server uses Permissionlove to form a ranking system. From lowest to highest,
Member
Creative
VIP
Mod
Admin
Different ranks have different permissions. Everyone is a "Member" by default, this allows all the basics such as brick placement, chat, crafting, etc.
Creative status is obtained through querying a server Administrator. This normally involves asking "hey do you mind if I play creative?"
Once Creative status is obtained, you will be put into creative mode in the server forever. The process is reversible however Administrators are not your slaves and will not convert you to and from Creative mode at your whim. Choose wisely whether you wish to play normally or not.
---PLUGINS---
This server uses various bukkit plugins to enhance user enjoyment and enforce security.
These plugins include:
BlockBlock (disables lava/water/bedrock/TNT/fire placement)
ChatManager (custom chat colors, prefixes, etc)
MyWarp (a warp manager, limited use [see permission section])
Pail and PailPlus (server interfaces to make administrating easier)
Permissionlove (a permissions manager)
Spout (server mod framework)
SpoutFlight (flight mod for SpoutCraft clients)
SuperSpawn (allows an Administrator to set the inital spawn point for all users)
---PERMISSIONS AND RANKING---
Member:
Can point compass in the direction of a warp (see help section)
Creative:
Can point compass in the direction of a warp, always in Creative mode, can place water
VIP:
/give, /warp commands (basic), can place water
Mod:
/give, /warp commands (basic, social), /tp, /kick, /time [add|set], /ss (go to superspawn point), /gamemode, /list, can place water and bedrock
Admin:
Every permission is available, can place anything

Warp commands (VIP and higher):
Q: How do I become a Moderator or Administrator?
A: We do not currently accept applications. In short - you don't.
Q: How do I become a VIP?
A: All promotion is at an Administrator's discretion - you will have to be liked, frequent the server, and contribute some sort of build (whether it is a small house or a mansion, whatever floats your boat)
Q: Someone is harassing/griefing me, and nobody is online to ban them. What do I do?
A: Take a screenshot of the offender and post it here - someone will take a look at the server logs, and your proof, and deal with it accordingly.
Q: How many players does the server support?
A: The server can currently hold 16 players at a time. This will be increased/decreased if need be.
---RULES---
{1} - No hacking. Hacking will result in a permaban. No appealing for pardon.
{2} - No harassing other players. This will usually result in a kick depending on severity.
{3} - No asking Mods/Admins to '/give' you items. Asking other players is allowed.
{4} - Several blocks will autokick you on attempted placement. These include bedrock, water, lava, TNT, and fire. The only penalty for these is the automatic kick and any damage will need to be repaired.
{5} - No asking to be placed in any rank other than Member or Creative. Administration will decide whom is capable of handling a promotion.
{6} - No spamming of any kind. This includes block spam, chat spam, leave spam, etc. Offenders will be warned and then kicked, repeat offenders will be IP banned. You may appeal these bans.
{7} - Upon joining the server, you agree that you have read the rules in their entirety and that any kicks/bans placed upon you will be righteous until proven otherwise. You agree that you will inform an Administrator if a Moderator has unfairly punished you.
{8} - Moderators and Administrators must NEVER abuse their powers. Abuse results in demotion to VIP or Member/Creative varying on the offense.
