Here's the full story:
My beloved grandpa died on the 12th of May this year. Ever since then, my mom and my uncle have been discussing what should happen to grandpa's house. At first, I was disgusted by the thought of moving there; it's not a very fresh place. My family has gathered a few times to discuss the pros and cons of moving/staying. We've been discussing with my uncle's family about whether they want to take over the house or not. Over time, I've learned to accept that we'll most likely move. Today, we went into town to check out furniture and see how we should re-decorate his house, just in case. Some of the many advantages of moving is that I'll get a much bigger room, there's a much smaller lawn to mow, and it'll ensure that the property won't be desecrated by some dumb forgets who don't know how to handle a house. Even though it's not very nice on the inside, the exterior is very nice and it's a major chunk of my childhood we're talking about here, after all. We are also going to make a total makeover of the interior.
So just a minute ago, we were having dinner, when mom suddenly said that she'd received word from my uncle that they did not want to move, which means we will. We don't know when it will happen yet, but we're pretty sure we'll be done before Christmas.
tl;dr My family's taking over my grandpa's old property.
So yeah. Discuss moving.
A very old pic of the house I'm moving to. It looks pretty much the same today.
