You harm the production of such add-ons by forcing it on them.

You can encourage it, but you can't just release their add-ons without their permission, how do you expect them to react?

I said it myself, I'm not happy with the recent actions of Ephialtes, and have less desire to produce further add-ons, as will most add-on makers that have their brick packs, or really any other type of add-on produced without their permission.
What?  Any private mods that I receive from others, I do not share.  Any private mods that I share, I give to friends because I give it as a gift.  Also, I said nothing about forcing people to release private Add-Ons.  I think that it is better that it be public information so that the community can benefit from it, however, it is solely the creator's choice.  If I give private Add-Ons to friends, I know that they may spread it.  It may be a rare Add-On, but it's there for them, and they can post it (if I give them permission, which I would do if I had any recent private Add-Ons to give.)

Personal Add-Ons are my creation and therefore I get to decide if people get it or not.

lol
you realize you ultimately have no control over that

lol
you realize you ultimately have no control over that
he has absolute control over who he gives it too
he has little control of people beyond that

What do you mean
Like did he actually do something or was it when he just stated his opinion on personal add-ons?

He helped release a pack of tree bricks Elm commissioned for his server.

better question, why do you not release them
because he doesn't loving want to? holy stuff!

Crispy and you might actually have a mental disability!

People who make add-ons make them to improve the blockland experience for themselves and others around them.
It's not a loving law that we have to release anything we make. It's our intellectual property (To an extent) and we can decide what happens to it.

If an add-on developer decides to hold some add-ons back, it actually doesn't matter why. They made them, they spent hours of their hard work on something. You have no "right to be mad" at them for holding it.

You should be thankful towards people who make these awesome additions. This is the most entitled I've seen the blockland community since forever.
Most add-ons ARE released. Free of charge. If the developers want to keep some for uniqueness sake, let them loving do it.

It's disgusting what you guys are trying to argue. Grow the forget up. The only people I see who can understand our points are people who have spent a long time making add-ons. Crispy and Taboo really don't understand how much work is put into these things.

all he did was provide a link to the trees, which many other people have done before.

Crispy and you might actually have a mental disability!
if that's what you want to believe, go ahead.
people often think someone has a disability if they have a different opinion than them.

Crispy and Taboo really don't understand how much work is put into these things.
except i do???
i make add-ons myself, it takes a real long time, but i make them for the community, i dont make it just for myself and then brag about having it.

pretty sure legally it's not

I make them for the community too bud.

A lot of people do. I would bare to guess 99% of people who make content, release the content for everyone.
Why is it a crime that they want to keep some stuff unique?
pretty sure legally it's not
Probably not legally, not sure.

I make them for the community too bud.
you have a habit of making sure people know it whenever you get in an argument too lol. hiiiiighhh hoooorrssseee

anyway, if the personal addon is a weapon or vehicle of some sort, people can just steal the model anyway can't they? (i remember being able to do it, i'm not sure how they do it with the cache system now)

I've made add-ons for the community too, let's see some of your add-ons. Also, have I ever bragged about having my trees? I didn't want them released because I was trying to create an actual game that player's could play and have them remember why they joined it in the first place. From unique content such as the trees, to thousands of lines of code which I wouldn't want released either. Land of Blocks took me about 6 months to get it to where it was.

I'm going to assume your add-ons could probably be done in a few hours to a day.

let's see some of your add-ons.

heres a few notable ones, these are all bricks made with the help a BLB editor made by zack0something0 or something because i started before the obj to blb thing was released and i dont even know how to model using blender

You have a habit of following my posts and antagonizing me.
So I stopped taking your dumbass seriously.

I was simply pointing out that "but, i make them for the community" wasn't only Crispy. Lol
