Is this a good build for the price? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ShardTheOwl/saved/1o01 I will be playing mainly Garry's Mod and DayZ with it. I want it to run DayZ at a decent FPS on high settings and Garry's Mod too.

wait, so what is your optimal budget? ill try to come up with something myself, too
My budget is $600 and I don't need a hard drive or optical drive as long as the ones from my current computer fit in the case.

I need to know how much this will sell for:

Considering upgrading from an Athlon 64 X2 6000+ and ASUS M2V board to an FX-4100 and MSI 970A-G43, if anyone has any better suggestions for $235, preferably from a Canadian website such as NCIX, I'm all ears.

Get a 4300 instead, Piledrivers are better than Bulldozers

I think I'm going to get this today or tomorrow.

This optical drive and hard drive fit in the case right?

I asked this question before.

I'm going to be Blender rendering animations and gaming on the same PC. Should I wait for the i7-49**K/X series, or go for the Haswell regular i7? My budget is about $1.5k but I have $27k for a car fund (which I don't want to take more than $1k out of).

I think I bought exactly that optical drive, or a very similar one. It didn't fit in my haf 912.

just go for the current processor as the new ones will already be overkill

not trying to be mean or anything but how does a 14 year old have $28.5k?

My current PC with a Sandy i5 + Radeon 6630M takes pretty much 1 minute to render a grass scene. If I do an animation, this will add up to 24 minutes, 48 minutes, etc.

I need the extra threads and other features the top processors provide.

If Blender uses OpenCL to render, then I am not sure what to get, but the graphics card I'm getting might be an AMD.

My parents have a custodial account for me that grows over time. (which is why I want to use it as little as possible)

I don't even understand what you're saying here. That's like saying "AMD Processor? How can you using an nvidia card!"
