The current headset I have is a
Zowie Hammer. It's been the most durable headset I've ever owned, every single previous one I've owned has had the ear pieces snap from the head band. It's been pretty much great but the mic is really awkward, it's way to close to either my mouth or my nose and picks up a lot of my breathing.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a headset using mostly metal to connect the ear pieces to headset that have a mic that I can adjust the distance of so it's not picking up all my breathing. I would go the separate mic root but I don't feel like having to keep it setup on my desk while I use it.
I would like to keep it under $125 and I'm not really concerned with the sound quality of the headphones since I have a separate sound card and only use it for communication. As for the mic, if it's not complete stuff I'm happy. I just want something I can adjust away from my face a little better.
