cant join games :(

my brother wanted to play this game with me and we have tried everything under the sun. the best we can get is me getting to the loading screen when joining his hosted game or a server and it just stops. this doesent happen when i host. i tried useing the search function but nothing comes up. any ideas?

if demo you cant join servers you need to buy it.

i dont think i have the demo, its not apparent anywhere. i have bought a key and have used it.

If you have the demo you can only use 150 bricks. It is a text at the bottom of the screen that tells how many bricks you've used. (Ex: 132 of 150) Something like that. If it's not there though, you don't have the demo.

do both you and your brother have your OWN payed keys of the game?

if just one of you do, you can still play together if your on the same network i think. i dont remember how that stuff works though :\

We both have our own keys, and we can play on the same network if we are in the same house on one key, but we do not live in the same house so unfortunately that is not possible.

I think anya is having problems timing out... I have no clue what would cause it but when something loads half way and stops, it is usually something with timing out..

Everyone who responded is handicapped.
He was able to start loading when joining a server, so he clearly does not have the demo.
Cop, you don't even need to port forward for joining games.
I'm not sure what the problem could be, however, people could atleast come up with better responses...

He says it starts to load, so obviously he can connect.

Anyways, it could be a bad add-on.
On whatever computer he is using, go into the Blockland folder, goto Config, then Server, and open ADD_ON_LIST.cs
It will give you two options, pick the bottom one.
A window should pop up with a list of programs, select Notepad.
Once notepad opens up with the file, copy all the text, and paste it here.

i select a game to join, loading screen comes up, i can read messages people send but my loading bar randomly stops after a bit of loading and wont continue.

it shouldent be a hardware issue because my computer is awesome and far exceeds the reccomended specs.

i have reinstalled the game and it still does not work.
