Author Topic: 'Can't Upload to Mediafire, or any File-Sharing Website' Solution.  (Read 266 times)

Warning: This is for Windows XP + Certain other Windows setups.  Other setups are not to follow these steps.  Instead, you can correct the issue by finding where your internet options are and disabling any LAN settings you have setup.

Warning: This is also only for those who have tried the following solutions:

1.) Disabling / Allowing the websites access through Firewall Ports.
2.) Disabling / Allowing the websites access through Antivirus / Antimalware Ports.
3.) Checking if the site is down currently or if special privileges are required for access.

The Solution:

1.) Click the 'Start Menu'
2.) Click on 'Control Panel'
3.) If in 'Category View', choose 'Network and Internet Connections'.  if not go to C.V....
4.) Choose 'Internet Options'
5.) Click on the 'Connections' tab at the top of the new menu.
6.) Choose 'LAN Settings' at the bottom of the tab.
7.) Un-Select every check box and delete any information you see.
8.) Hit OK for everything to find yourself closed out of all the menus I've told you to open.

Done. You should now be able to upload again.

Note:  I had this issue, and there isn't a single solution available on the web as to how to fix / solve this problem.  I'm posting the solution in Blockland if anyone else finds themselves stuck with this issue.  have a nice day.
