I don't really like real LEGOs that much anymore, because the pieces are too 'specific' or 'specialized.' Now it feels like using custom parts to put together a model airplane, when it used to be about using genuine intuition to creatively build something out of simpler pieces.

I agree that having one brick for the whole front of a plane is annoying, but it does look better and it's what a lot of younger customers want. So it's what they make.
