Off Topic / Frostbyte found an old Spiderman comic!

So me and my friend were searching for one of my old games in my basement and after trying to look through a bunch of boes we found an old Spiderman comic, probably from the 80s-90s seeing that there were ads for the Gameboy and SNES. Im guessing this is my dad's and sorry for the crappy pic, I used my ipod.

Off Topic / Vancouver Riot

So if your a fan of hockey or you live in Vancouver/Boston then you probably heard about or watched the Stanley Cup game. Well anyways I was dissapointed that Vancouver lost but thats not what im actually pissed about.

You see a whole giant group of hockey fans decided to watch the game on these big tv screens downtown because the arena cost too much for seats. Shortly after we lost there was a huge riot going on.

There have been stabbings, pepper sprays, tear gasing, fights, fires, lootings, cars turned over and even police have had to bring more backup and higher levels of authority.

Just because we lost a chance at getting the Stanley Cup.

Vancouver I am dissapoint.

Whats in this pack?
Everything you would see from the Bioshock series, Weapons, plasmids, AI, GUIs, Playertypes, Etc.
How can we help?
Modeling, Scripting, and Animating.
Where can I refrence stuff from the game?

How will these be released?
We will start with Bioshock 1 then move on to the 2nd game, the multiplayer stuff, then infinite.
But feel free to work on anything from any game.

Wrench by Obitial. needs ingame testing and bug fixing.
Bioshock 1's Pistol, All upgrades and original modelled, need scripting. By Legomaster.
Incinerate Plasmid by Extrude. It's a finished addon give it a try!

Off Topic / PS3 freezes after update?

Yeah this happened a few weeks ago and I made a topic about it aswell, but it seems that on older versiosn of the PS3 freeze and crash or get the Y.L.O.D after an update, this also seems to affect the slim ones aswell, but with overheating issues.

I checked my ps3 and have always kept it in a open area just under my tv and it has not overheated or done soemthing like this to me before. After countless random bootups it has only wokred about 3 times and i was able to play for a bit, so it has not died, nor crashed or even gotten to old. I turned it off even if overheating was the case.

There have been thousands of other claiming that the update must have caused the consoles to break down, and are given the same stuff as me: Freezing then beeping then Y.L.O.D.

Off Topic / Can you get fired for this?

Okay so I decided to talk to my freind Connor during some study period the other day and I was asking him about what he was going to do next year etc. A few moments later I asked him about some teachers and what ones to avoid/not avoid were he told me about this one teacher who gets angry and spews out her anger in a very unacceptable way.

This is were it kicks off:
Connor has a friend of his who happens to be Jewish and had told em that his friend did something by mistake or asked the teacher something (I don't remember so clearly) were the teacher yelled at him about national socialists and how he should have been killed by them etc.

I know that this teacher has also yelled other types of stuff depending on race/gender/religon of the student many other times aswell and that she always gets pissed off for the most simple reasons.

So anyone think she could be fired if the principal caught her doing this?

If you have ever played the game FlatOut or GTA or even Saints row 2 you will get what i mean.

Driving too fast and hitting a wall will send the player out of his vehicle tumbling while also taking a chunk of damage (if enabled).

I thought of some event while fidling around with tumble events and bikes today. Basically when the courpse of a player touches a brick something happens.

Ex: Courpse touches lava and makes an orange splash and burns.

Off Topic / PSN Update 3.61 is YLOD?

Well it seems that Multiple people and even me included got the YLOD on the older fatter ps3. After update 3.61 multiple owners reported having a YLOD a few days after. I have taken good care of my ps3 I even dusted and vaccumed it today and it still does not work. Calling Sony support is hopeless, they don't help at all they just say go pay for repairs.

This is bullstuff Sony, you forgeted up twice now.

Well i decided to rummage through my saves and I found some old memorable creations I made about a quater or half way through until i abandonded them.

After looking at some of these Im thinking of renovating them and reviving them. So take a look and give me any suggestions or what i should remake.

This is my old Lava KOTH game I made. I remember waiting for the mounted LMG adon to be out and use it for this map :I


I decided to make a TF2 styled map that had a mixture of Turbine and something else. I Call it CP_Central inb4cpmeanssomethignfunnyololol


A building I made after seeing something like it in a Gmod movie. Reminds me of Building 6.


These are from a mining area collab I built with a few people. It was alot of fun :D





A TDM I was making. I don't know what it is actually.


Another TDM I made when I got hyped up over the L4D2 weaponset. The idea was you had to buy the guns and only had a pistol.



This was a Zombie map called dead district. You had to cross the rooftops and get to lower ground. Dammit Gojira :I


I actually completed this, but it wasn't so popular in multiplayer. The idea was a CTF but players focused more on using the tanks than the actual weapons.


My last pic was something that I thought would fit in Half Life.
