You could do something useful such as actually fighting with the Marines or something like that.
Every position has its contribution to the marines. Being a tech specialist in the marine also has a major responsibility for training other recruits and other things that have to do with combat from behind the scenes.
The band is important, too. But they will still fight if necessary.
I think the whole army is just gay in general
It's good that it exists, though. Some people aren't mentally strong enough to take on the Marines but still want to help their country.
