Perhaps in principle, but it's the fact that we subsidize crops so much that the Mexican farmers can no longer work in their homeland. Also, are we really going to fight tooth and nail to kick valuable human capital out of our economy, on the basis of being 'fair' to a long, bureaucratic immigration process that was never fair to begin with? Fix both problems.
