Off Topic / Need some help with choosing a new laptop

Hey, my parents are planning to buy a new laptop and these are the two laptops I can choose of:

-Acer Aspire 7750G-2638G
Notebook Gaming

Technical info:

Second-generation Intel Core i7 2630QM
- 8 GB DDR RAM III
-1.5 TB Hard Drive
AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6550 2 GB DDR VRAM III
- Lithium-Ion 9 cells

-HP Pavilion dv7-4095eb

Technical info

Intel Core i7 processor 7200QM
-8 GB DDR RAM III
-2 x 1 TB hard drive
- ATI Mobility Radeon HD5650 with 1 GB dedicated video memory, VGA and HDMI

The first one has a problem so it is currently not available. If it was then we would have gone for that one. Does anyone know when it will be available again? I thought in April?

The laptop could potentially be used for games like Battlefield 3. Can both laptops run games on the same power? If the difference is minuscule, we'll probably go for the second one. If not, then I'd wait for the first one, because it is made for gaming. (Hurhur) I've found very little information on both laptops on the internet, I've only found this information on a leaflet from a local store...

Suggestions & Requests / Paintball/airsoft deathmatch.

I was playing some server and the server had a airsoft gun. I got an idea for a new type of deathmatch. Although you don't die. When you say paintball you say balls of paint flying out of a air-pressure gun. So that probably won't kill you. So what happens then when you get hit? You go to the losers-lobby. 5 times = teleport to a chamber where all death people go to. So what do you need for this deathmatch?

-A set of paintball guns
-A new scripted deathmatch. (Maybe some things to edit the amount of hits you can take in the server options.)
-A spawn to make you teleport to the 'graveyard'

Do this:

1. spawn pirate cannon
2. enter it.
3. Take the wrench out
4. wrench the bottom while in the cannon
5. exit the cannon

Now the cannon should be aiming at you.

Suggestions & Requests / Auto-saver before giving admin.

Well I just got this idea, but when some people get admin at places they don't use it the good way. They delete stuff, etc. My idea was that the game automatically saves on a backup when you give someone admin. (This would be an option for the host, you can disable it if you want, because I guess not everyone gives admin to strangers, but it will help for some people.)

Games / Is anyone going to buy maffia 2? (PS3 version)

Since I'm not allowed to start another topic on the 2K forums about the PS3 version and it's 'problems', I'm going to ask you guys. For all you people that don't know what's going on: The maffia 2 demo was released on PS3, XBOX360 and PC, but many people started topics on the 2K forums, because the PS3 demo was awful compared to the XBOX360 and PC version. There was no grass, bloodpools, motion blur and much more was different from the other version although someone in 2K said: 'XBOX360/PS3 versions of maffia look and run identical.' PS3 gameplay screenshots were released on sites like gamespot and there was grass in the screenshots although devs of maffia 2 said there wouldn't be grass in the final PS3 version. Many people started worrying and blaming the devs, because they don't want to give money for an unfinished game. All together: Hell was unleashed on the 2K forums.

Since I live in Europe, I won't have to worry about buying the game on lanchday, because I can still cancel my pre-order on the 24th, after I see the PS3 retail version on youtube, because it gets released on the 27th in Europe.

Help / Duplicating waterbricks.

At my server I tried to duplicate a baseplate with waterbricks. I duplicated it and came to the conclusion that when you go into the duplicated waterbrick, the waterbrick doesn't work anymore. You just walk through it. The water-effect is gone. I haven't tried it without having 'em on a baseplate, but I guess that won't make any difference.

I want to buy a PS3 game, because sometimes I want something else than Blockland you know, anyone has any ideas for me? Well I doesn't have to be all about me.   Just post if you need any help.

What you have to know:
-I dislike turn-based games.
-I like rpg's, shooters, action games (Needs free-roam), some racers,...
-I dislike hack 'n slash games (they are to short.) and sport games.
-Games I already have: Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, Prototype, LittleBigPlanet, Red Faction Guerilla, Saints Row 2, MotorStorm Pacific Rift, Fallout 3, Grand Theft Auto IV, TES IV: Oblivion, Bioshock 2, Fracture, CoD MW2, Red Dead Redemption and Just Cause 2.

I made a server and when someone join it said he got admin (but he didn't), and today I hosted a server and it was gone. Problem is I don't know what file it was due I deactivated so much add-ons today. Anyone knows what add-ons does this?

Since Blockland works on Torque and Age of Times does too, we can have mirrors. Not? I was playing Age of Times yesterday and I entered a house, went upstairs and scared myself seeing some one in front of me. It was a mirror!

I know this is already requested and much people say it's gonna lag but we can atleast try one time. D:

Yea it's similar to my idea. But...

I got a new (better) idea. A Inbox-Gui. You bind a key to it and you can put letters in it via events.
You event a brick like this: OnActivate->Player->NewMessageInbox: Go to this location.
I made a picture for better understanding:

This could be used for quests, etc.
