Yeah, go for a new case, too.
Which case do you recommend. A guy at best buy said that the Intel I7 would suffice a power supply of 450 watt, is it true?

I'd suggest going for higher wattage if you want a good graphics card and an i7.

Tom

Is it still an upgrade if he's pretty much gonna get new everything besides the Power Supply and ram?

I'm also going to keep my CD drives.

Which one is true?
"He was the same type as me.
Most of my family follows the role of an engineer."

I repair items and work on upgrading new items.I was once a scientist for ~2 years, but I abandoned the job because I was frequently getting hurt ~50 times a day from the violently reacting mechanical parts that I was working with.

If you can, I suggest going for a better graphics card.

The GTS 250 is a perfectly capable card.

It's comparable to a 9800GTX+

I think you might want to go with a quad core.
Sure, that E8400 is great and all, but technology is still advancing.

You should try a Q8400.

I forgot to look at the processor, I thought he went with an i7.  I suck roosters. So I was thinking "Why not get an even better graphics card?"
Btw, should I get a 250, or 9800?

I'll go for it. What power supply would you reccomend for it?
