Wow, I might sound like a handicap, but ports 28000-28030 are http ports? and I will have to allow all 30 of these to host a server?

There is no difference, your router does not use Mac OS (number here). Try going to:

192.168.1.1
192.168.2.1
192.168.0.1

Check each address until you get to your router's control panel, and work from there.

What router are you using? It should be shown as 28000 as the start and 28030 as end.

No router, only a modem.

I have Norton with symantec and there is a firewall option, and a list of http ports which are allowed access. But, when I try to make a server, Norton does not notify me or anything like that. On top of that my default gateway page has no kind of Port Forwarding option, which is really stupid. If i can, I will post a picture.
