Queuenard's server for Blockland New Years, the chat is just a sea of his time posting and he'll still occasionally chime in on the VC when it's active to verbally tell people the time

This guy tells the time in Blockland, Brickadia, and whatever Discord servers he may occupy and their voice channels

HOW? How does anyone have that much time in their life to tell other people the time through multiple mediums simultaneously and have the time to do IRL stuff like eat, sleep, go to the bathroom, go outside, etc?

Rare case of RLCBM slipping up

what a forgeted up form of cancer. it must've impacted his breathing very much and looks like eventually it would've impacted his spine and brain. once it reaches that point it seems like surgery is too dangerous and can result in brain death

Makes me uncomfortable just thinking about it, can't even begin to imagine how it must have felt for Bushido until it eventually took his life

He rode on his high horse of developing Return to Blockland, only to eventually give up on one of the greatest mod managers because of god I can't even remember.

I think it had to do with Blockland's lack of reception after it's Steam Greenlight phase

Yeah, basically

However in my opinion the Steam launch was underwhelming, badly co-ordinated and still has a number of non-trivial problems that haven't been resolved a month and a half or so later. Honestly I expected game development to be taken a bit more seriously given the potential for a much wider audience but it's just not materialised and I got bored of putting more effort into the game than the guys who make it. I offered to develop community features and services for free as an official part of Blockland but there wasn't much interest or follow-up on that.

So with my free time running out due to a recent job promotion I'm having to pick what I want to spend it on more carefully and I really can't justify spending any more of it on modding Blockland. I'll continue to play and moderate because it's a great game but I'm done developing.

Since 2021 or 2022, yeah, but the idea actually started as far back as 2011 when someone drew a representation of my username for their Q&A video

Hello and welcome back fellow oldie

If you want to join an active Blockland community, you should consider joining the Content Creators server (formerly known as (but still majorly functions as) Blockland Content Creators)

You don't have to be a content creator to join, you can just chill, talk, post screenshots, discuss and get help with non-Blockland/video game related stuff, etc

There are a lot of older users there (mostly 2010 era users, but also some 2000 era here and there), but a lot of OGs who used to inhabit these forums just kinda went elsewhere, or just abandoned Blockland altogether

Imagine placing a 1x1 brick on the second stud of a 1x2 brick and that's my character's head

But like Blockland's 'Bloko' bricks, Legodude's head is just made of legally distinct, and completely featureless, interconnecting plastic blocks

It seems that yet another Blocklander, Bushido (Shout), has unfortunately passed away, this time from cancer

Specifically 'nasopharyngeal cancer'

To hear of his passing at such a young age (28, according to his forum profile and the fundraiser down below) is nothing short of heartbreaking, and my condolences go out to all of his friends (online and IRL) and his family

Though you were taken much too soon, i hope you now rest peacefully, old friend...
