« on: June 12, 2013, 10:45:25 PM »whatyes you read right the ps4 has 8gb or DDR5 ram just ram not even for the gpu atm you can only get ddr5 ram in gpu's for PC's so yer ddr5(also has an 8 core amd cpu custom made for the pps4 with custom drivers for the gpu and cpu)

The PS4 targets gamers, while the Xbox One targets a much wider demographic. People who play PC are most likely to stay with PC, while console gamers will switch to PS4, while the Xbox One will appeal to the family demographic. People will buy it as an entertainment system, so the Xbox One will appeal more to older people and families looking for something to handle all of their media, plus some gamers might prefer it.buy a loving dvd player then most tv's can do all your media
In the end, gamers will choose PS4, but Xbox One might bring in a higher profit because Microsoft is focusing on a much larger demographic.
buy a raspberry ppi for 50$ and make a media server not hard,
if i want something for my family i might aswell go get a wii U
I bet some people might get bored with them and take the GPU out and stuff.i would happly take the ps4's 8gb of DDR5 ram only if its faster then my 16gb DDR3 1600mhz ram
ill leave the cpu as i have an i7 3770k id take the bluray drive and id take the gpu to bitcoin mine on it as it gets no where near my 7970 OC edition

not everyone can afford powerful custom built pcs.
not the best of the best but it but it will still play all games
you dont need an i7 or a gtx 780 or a 7970 you can go lower like a 7850 can still run bf3 at max settings

yer it looks sooooo good with that mandatory camera and the constant internet connection and stuff specs
i dont go for looks i want specs and the xbox one just met the low end computer
the ps4 looks good BUT has beast specs (wish the gpu was like a 7950 or a 7970 so it will last longer but meh)
and i like the blue light just like the ps vita its like they know what there doing, unlike microsoft who cant count 360+360=one?

e.g. blockland hits like 300fps then you can hear it but not if you use headphones like i do and not tomention the fans for your entier comuter will drown it out and when you have the side pannal on it is much better
i just turn vsync on so it does not go above 80fps
othere then that really good once vsync is on so you done have high fps
i have heard that you can fix it bu taking the cooler off and putting superglue on the capasators to stop them viberating.
overclocks well looks good and you can mine bitcoins will it and or litecoins

much funner when you keylog teacher get user account then use that to have read write to the schools servers and well delete everything well i dident a batch file i made did nice and easy run it turn off screen and put paper up saying broken...
well worth the 20 day suspention and having to change schools

its about 25C idle and 60-70C max with a 4.2ghz overclock (i7 3770k h100i liquid cooling)

« on: June 10, 2013, 08:43:43 PM »okay, im picking out a new gpu.i have that exsact same card and its really good other then the coil whine temps are good overclocks easly looks good othere then the blue PCB but other then the coil whine (only happens at like 150+ fps at max settings like minecraft like 300+fps with 256x texture pack)
Thoughts? I'm looking for durability and performance under $400.

Despite that, key features:
1 Terabyte/s HDD. i did not see a hdd must have missed it
12 GB VRAM total dual-GPU with 7 teraflops / GPU. just because theres 2 does not mean the total vram increases only th gpu power the total vram is the same
40 GB/s CPU. Not so excited about the 12 cores part. 12 cores is nice
60 GB/s RAM on 1866MHz. you will only notice that diffrence if you are doing video or is it photo rendering
