Off Topic / Well i think my hard drive just died

I'm not surprised i guess, i've had the thing since 08 and its gone through several reformats and wipes. It can't progress past the windows 7 logo and startup repair does "repairs" but its been repairing since 6:00 this morning.

What do you guys think? Is it possible its not a hard drive failiure...? And if i need to replace it should i just go with a straight SSD or a combo?

He could no longer stand my fat ass and i crushed him by leaning back for what would be our 189,456th leaning back anniversary. He also suffered from a terrible flaking skin disease. His leather exterior was simply not built to last. May he rest in pieces.


Time for a new marriage. What the hell are you guys sitting on and tell me why its great so that i may buy it.

Also i checked the chair for any brand marks, and i found nothing. If you guys can identify the chair i'll gladly buy another one of these again.

Off Topic / Need good laptop recommendations

I am aware that most of you are desktop nuts (so am I. Ive built  2 of them for gaming.) But now I want to get a good laptop. Laptop for both work AND aimed at gaming if possible. Ive done a little research of my own but I want to get second opinions since one of you may be more experienced.

1000 budget. (This covers used laptops as well so im not just looking for brand new)

I have this nagging issue of not touching my food until the "film" or entertainment starts. I hate blowing through my food at the theater when the movie begins and the habit has returned home with me.

I have a ham sandwich a small wedge of cheese and some crackers and i won't touch it until i can think of something to watch. Help me.

What exactly is it?

“special interest” specifically refers to a strong loveual preoccupation with an object, material or body part. special interestism is not in itself recognized as a psychiatric disorder. Usually the focus of a special interest is something not traditionally considered loveual. special interestes overall are not considered mental disorders and are classified as harmless. Studies show that there are many many people out there who have a special interest. Some people go unaware of their special interestes for quite some time before they encounter it.

What about Paraphilia?

A paraphilia is like its relative as mentioned above. For the exception that a paraphilia causes distress to others or oneself. This classifies it as a disorder unlike a special interest. This includes child enthusiasm and Frotteurism as two examples.

Latest episode. Can't wait to see how he orchestrates the final boss.

This series has been going on for ages and it would really suck if he didn't continue into Half Life 2. Although it would probably be more difficult since there are a ton more characters that talk to him in the game.

Most creatures were stirring, even Plaz with his plight;
The posts were typed in the topic with care,
In hopes that somebody would notice it there;
The forums was all fine, in this part of the net;

I sprang from my Profile to see what was the matter.
Away to the thread I flew like a flash,
To type up a good post and verbally kick ass.
Amidst the confusion a moron did fight,
Try as he may he just wasn't right,
When what to my wondering eyes did appear,
an intelligent poster that was much needed here,
With an avatar so familiar it was all to great,
It was Destroyer with his posts fairly set straight!
More rapid than bullets his posts they came,
pummeling the Moron which just made him look lame:

A great deal of friends i have made to this day,
came from this forum as i typed-typed away.
These posts so fun! with colors white and blue!
Bring much pleasure to my life and i'm sure you think too!
We may not always get along i know,
But if i met most of you in real life it wouldn't even be so;
The internet brings a curtain of certain misunderstanding,
But with a little effort we can all have a good landing!
We share great moments together and if i do say,
That most of its hilarious towards the end of the day.
