What is a dog?If you are some idiotic mindforget, let me explain briefly.
A dog is a domesticated carnivorous mammal that usually has a long snout, an acute sense of smell, and a barking, howling, or whining voice. It is widely kept for work and sports.
Why should I care about this dangerous piece of fur?Dogs have feelings too, you know. They have been beneficial to mankind for a number of reasons. Such as:
They are able to hunt animals for their owners.
Has been known to save lives and protecting owners from danger.
Some breeds are used as transportation in the snow.
Cuddly.
Okay, good point. Now where do I get one?Whoa, whoa! Slow down there, hipster! Before your wallet loosens out of your pocket, you have to consider what breed is right for you. Not just say "I like this breed, let's get it".
You have to consider:
If the climate is warm or cold.
How many people are in your family, don't forget: small children sometimes don't get along with pets.
The health problems the breed can have, will you be able to afford if it gets sick?
How big can you have it? Tiny or gigantic?
How much will you need to exercise this thing? Will it be a couch potato or an athlete?
Is it good for apartments? Don't wake every neighbor up with your dog.
How much money you will spend on food, collars, dog beds, toys, a cage, and the dog itself.

So I got my dog, why the hell won't it listen to me?You probably need to train it. Practice getting it to come to you by clapping and calling it's name. Teach it tricks.
The most important tip for dog training:Do not punish it harshly when the dog acts bad, a dog treated bad will act bad. Reward it for good behavior.
