Off Topic / Thinking about a new rig, what are your opinions.

So ya, I recently got a new desktop with the following specs:
Some Intel X58 MoBo, didn't build it. :D
Intel Core i7 975 3.23 GHz Six Cores 12 MB L3 Cache
6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM
Dual AMD Radeon HD 6950s
1.2 KW Power Supply
1 TB SATA 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive (Think it was Seagate Barracuda something or other.)
Some PCIe Wireless Card

The chassis is positively amazing. But, my brother gave me his 14' Laser sailboat. It can go for 2000 easy on lasertrader.org. So I have my 2500 dollar new computer, and am faced with the decision to sell the boat and computer, and build a new computer that has more stuff that I like. Here are the specs I would get:

Off Topic / MY GODDAMN DOOR

So the door to my bedroom has had this pain-in-the-ass problem for years now. Recently, I made an attempt to scour the internet for a solution to the problem. The problem is that it closes fine, but it doesn't stay in one place. Does that make sense? If it's not fully closed, let's say closed to the extent of a 45 degree angle, it automatically starts falling back to 90 degrees, or all the way open. Is there a way I can tighten the hinges? Tightening the screws hasn't helped at all.

So, my birthday is coming up here. I've asked for a headset, and my parents are cool with that. The price isn't really a factor; I would really like 7.1 surround sound, as long as it's under 180$. The Razer Megalodons are looking smexy, Logitech's G35s are boss, and the Steelseries 7H is getting consideration. You guys got any input?

Games / Worms 2 Reloaded

Hey, I just got Worms 2: Reloaded and have been having some problems. I loved the game on the Xbox and the iTouch, but when I press my jump button, it doesn't work. First I tried the default 'Enter.' Then I tried switching to different keys. Still didn't work. Uninstalled Microsoft E-home infrared transceiver. Nothing. Any help?

So in swim team today, I thought about two things. The last isn't so cool and important.
Here goes:
You have Physics in your left hand. Physics is also logic.
Physics asks the question 'how.'
Physics asks how the sun burns atoms or whatever.
In your right hand is Math.
Math is in your right hand. Math can be described as reason.
Math explains.
Math puts Physics into an equation.
Then there is Philosophy.
Where does it go?
On your head.
You can not use Math or Physics to explain Philosophy.
You can use Physics to explain Math or vice versa.
Pretty cool thing.
Number 2:
Anger and Hate
Anger can fuel you, as I noticed in swimming.
Someone pissed me off so I got angry and swam hard and long.
Anger fuels you.
Hate gives you strength and speed.
Anger can keep me going, where as the hate made me beat the person in the race.
So, ya.

So, erm, there's this girl that I want to go out with and she likes me. My parents dating limit is 16. I think it is somewhat overprotective and ridiculous that I am 14 and cannot date. So I am going to ask the girl out. I just want some suggestions of how I should ask the girl out and how I should go about doing this. I don't really get to "go out" during the day, but I have a school dance tomorrow and we will be able to hang out for 3 hours. We might be able to get away then.

Just got my Macbook Pro, 13-inch. Right at the time when HL2, Portal, and TF2 are coming out for it. :o
This thing is for school, but I still get some games on it. I'm new to Mac and all, so just wondering, I download the Blockland.dmg file right? That's it? If someone could get back that would be nice.

Slender Man: A supernatural humanoid that is very tall, faceless, and has long skinny arms.
Alex: Jay's college buddy, turns into Masky after getting into cahoots with Slendy. Started the project but got weirded up by Slendy.
Jay: Man who was Alex's college buddy, and Alex gives Jay the tapes before he disappears. About Entries #1-11 are filmed by Alex. I think. He continues the project for Alex, and now Masky (Alex) and Slendy are hunting him down.

Off Topic / Kidnapper Around Town, and Other Crime Dudes

Wow. Pretty scary day today. When I came home from my track meet, my mom went to get a Diet Pepsi. I was talking to her and walked with her for like 5 seconds as she went to get in her car. A drunk homeless guy was sitting down yelling 'FUGGIN stuff BAG!! I CANnST BELISAVES THIS CRAP!!! WHHHHHEEEEWWWW*e had a knife, and started to get up. My mom and I ran inside and locked the door. He started banging around the condo complex, when we called the police. He seemed to hear us call, so he bolted. Together, my mom and I went back over to the track meet after talking with the police. Two big guys were messing around, maybe high/drunk, and were starting to harass people. We helped clean up, when we saw them slowly edge toward three little track girls passing a ball around, farther away from everybody else. Then one of them tried to grab one of the girls when another shouted HEY! They both ran away, and we called the police AGAIN.

So, pretty scary around town. Last week someone got mugged in our front yard. Please don't troll or be an idiot in this topic. It would be appreciated.

Games / Garry's Mod Help

I got GMod this past weekend, and have created around 4 poses and 1 catapult. However, I have a few questions. First, is there a Gordon Freeman ragdoll? Or a mod? How do I install my add-ons? I have a large amount dled, but when I put them in my add-ons folder, they won't show up anywhere. Do I have to extract them? Thanks for the help, and I'll post a screenie of one of my poses. :D

I recently downloaded ZAPT. Like 30 minutes ago. I loaded my Ravenholm ZDM*, as I want to convert it from L4B to ZAPT. Do you have to place spawns, because I couldn't figure that out. I had L4B enabled still, does that conflict? I only see a tank spawn. In addition, what is the rescue timer and stuff? A better explanation than the one in the actual topic would be nice.

Help / Brick_Large_Cube Trouble

Alright, so I am very happy about the new LSG repost. I download it, open up a single - player server, and open my brick selector. I go to baseplates to load up my cart with 8x8 cubes, but none of the cubes are there! I headed back to my add - ons list and under bricks, there are Brick_Window, Brick_Water, and other stuff.  But my Cubes aren't there. I looked in my add - ons folder and there they are. I delete a few of my extra add - ons, redownload Blockland, and open up BL and there they are in the add - ons list. I create an LSG thing fine, but I had to reboot my comp for a sec. Once I open up BL again, it's gone once more. Any suggestions?
