Off Topic / Is there any reason clicking links outside of my browser do nothing?

I've tried a multitude of different browsers, uninstalling and reinstalling all of them. All to the same effect. Clicking any links from Skype, Steam or any game won't open in any browsers. Nothing happens when clicking them. Does anyone have any idea what I could do about that?

I remember a drama topic quite a few months ago that somehow spiraled into something about IUV actually being a girl and trinick/slicksilver (I think it was him???) came in and said some stuff about how he had DOX'd her/he/it and had medical records for proof. was that ever confirmed or was anything else on that subject surfaced?

Off Topic / accidentally overslept, what do?

it's 9:30 AM now, and it's a half day today so school ends at 12:30 AM. should i call my parents and tell them, or make up some story about being sick for a chance at them being less angry. or should i just walk to school (takes about 30 minutes) and just go about my day. i don't really know of other options besides these right now

also, my mom is supposed to be home at 11 AM so i dont have a whole lot of time to decide what im doing.

Off Topic / I have 5 hours until my Dad takes away my computer

Until every electronic I own is taken away. My dad's grounding me until Christmas. Basically what happened was that both of my parents are out of town and working, and let me stay home alone. In the morning, at 6:30, my dad woke me up and talked to me for a bit and then left for work. Here's the problem, I have no memory of even waking up, and when I did wake up, it was because my parents had flipped out I wasn't responding to them and called one of our neighbors to come check on me. Apparently what happened was I had walked back down to bed after my Dad left (I'm assuming), this is really loving bad because my parents usually check on me by calling me, and I had just walked back down without taking a phone or anything. I have no memory of this either.

Now my parents are loving mad and just driving me off to my grandparent's and leaving me there.

Off Topic / I think I just forgeted over my desktop entirely

Here's what happened:

My friend and I were gonna dual boot mac on my desktop, and when it was partitioning (it rebooted and showed that it was formatting the partition or something) I accidentally kicked the power cable and it pulled out of the wall, and then when I booted my computer up again, Windows went into recovery mode and said it couldn't boot from the drive anymore, and just now I tried using a Windows 7 disc to boot from and it said there was no OS found to boot from (when I tried booting from disc) and now I'm loving clueless. Does anyone here know what I can do maybe? ;-;
