Can I borrow $400 for Ps3?I you would have asked for $300 for an Xbox 360 then i would have given it to you. But you didn't so, no.
I'm sorry, but blackland is a very tribal game. :'(
quad cpus don't support gaming to well yet, but i would guess by next year.Hes has 2 loving 8800 GT's of course he could run a 22inch, i'd actually recommend a 24 inch.
and careful with the 22inch monitor, those vid cards in sli still may not play it at highest res and settings.
I am gonna wait until middle of June to get it so I can get it for ps3. Don't have a ps3 yet, waiting for summer so I can make money to get it. Also, you only have to be 17 to buy M games right? In most places there is no laws saying that you can not sell M games to people under 17 or 18, some stores for whatever handicapped reason decide to not sell them to minors. They probably wont care anyway.
That reminds me of a tribal quote from Otis Da HouskatlolQuote from: Mah Age of Time chat log==>Otis Da HousKat: There is only one thing I hated about slavery
==>Otis Da HousKat: The fact it brought the blacks to America.
==>Otis Da HousKat: Besides that it was a perfect system.
I do not approve of this quote and only posted it because it was humorous.
specs for shiggles, and discussionIt's funny how Sony uses stuff like cell processors and measures in Tflops, which are very hard to compare to other things. Nobody actually know what a cell processor is, it just sounds good, and when was the last time you ever heard of someone measuring their computer's performance in TFLOPS?
360
Processor: Three-core custom IBM PowerPC; each core at 3.2GHz
Ram: 512 MB GDDR3
Video card: Custom ATI 500MHz
Media: DVD with possible add-on HD DVD
PS3
Processor: 7 Cell Processor each at 3.2GHz
Ram: 256MB of 700MHz GDDR3; 256MB of XDR
Video card: 1.8 TFLOPS RSX GPU
Media: Blu-ray
Wii:
Processor: IBM "Broadway" 729MHz
Ram: 512MB flash memory
Video card: ATI Hollywood 243MHz
Media: 12cm disks
PC:
pffff

ps3 confusing as its CPU and GPU are kind of one unit :\ using cell features instead of cores. and such things that cant be compared well to other hardware.
But, if you have a stuffty processor among other things if you put a nice graphics card in there will be huge performance bottlenecks so it be any faster. If thats the case then your much better off just getting a whole new computer. There's no point in getting a cutting edge graphics when all he wants to do is play Blockland. Untill you get a new computer I would get a Geforce 6600 its $44 and can play anything up to Half-Life 2 but phails at anything newer.Well I mean I'd really like playing other games... more specifically Gmod, HL Series, Tribes Vengeance, and maybe WoW. Now about the RAM mentioned earlier by Gen. Nick. I know you can buy 2Gb for about $40 and just plug it into you computer, but can I access the programs on my RAM and clean it up a little? Btw thanks for all your guys' help
