900 bytes per second. If I'm lucky I can get 2kb/s. Everyone takes their internet for granted.
you're better off switching to dialup and get 56k

Yep. The 4S has both sorts of chips.
No.  You can't use an AT&T iPhone on Verizon.  I have friends who answer phones for Verizon, they get this call all the time.  Anyways, when you buy a phone, you're usually contracted for 2 years so why does it matter? You'll want a new phone as soon as you're free anyway.

I might do that eventually
I wont get a wide lens though, for one I bet it'd be hard finding one for this camera, and also because I want a DSLR camera at some point and would rather put whatever money might go into that lens into it
Well a 35 is a slight wide lens to begin with, and if you look on craigslist, there are some old film camera kits for <$100, sometimes <$50.  People just don't know the value of what they have.

I got my AE-1, a 50mm f/1.8, 28-80mm f/3.5 macro, 70-210mm f/3.5 macro, and optical doubler, a power film advance, a flash unit, some filters and a case all for $100.

I like my Droid a lot.
It's like, indestructible.
I had the opposite experience with mine.  By the time I got my Nexus, I was on my 3rd Droid and the one I had was near dying.  Luckily, Verizon kept sending me free refurbs to replace mine.

Updated OP with:

I shoot mainly on an Canon AE-1, but I also have a Canon T50, Rebel G, and Rebel Ti as well as a Konica Autoreflex T (great for night photography and star trails) and a Minolta Maxxum 5000i.  What do you guys shoot on?

Not the quantity of the apps when the quality is stuff.
pretty much all of the decent apps on the app store are now on android marketplace or are making their way there

it's not like the people behind these apps dont know that android holds 10% more of the market than apple

it would be bad business if they weren't porting their apps over, no one's going to switch phones over one app.

you're lucky to have somewhere you can take pictures like that
all that empty land you have in Arizona
well in Alabama all that empty land is replaced with annoying trees
go into town, do some urban photography, get some long roads.

or get a wide lens and take advantage of some small spaces

By the way when you trick it into thinking it's using Wifi it doesn't cost anything I think, because the app is what charges Verizon, not Verizon just watching.

I dunno how it works or if it's true. Just heard about it.
no

verizon gives you data service, so they can track how much data goes to/from your phone

when your phone connects to wifi, it automatically turns off data (3G on the iPhone)

apps don't give a forget about counting data

Ordered the iPhone, worried about the data plan, I got 2GB/Month, will that be good for some youtube, googling and whatever?

I think you can trick the apps into thinking their on Wifi, right?

I dunno, I heard something about that, like Pandora and whatever.

I'm also going to use this for my car in a year, which is one of my main reasons for wanting it.

You might be able to trick the apps to think they're on wifi (whatever that means), but you can't trick Verizon.

My Galaxy has a Data Tracking feature, basically tells me how much data I've used.

Google Music takes a lot of bandwidth, but I love it so.  Luckily, I could renew the contract I had on my Droid, which means I have unlimited data for the same price a 2GB now. :D
