I never knew how to get out of the checkpoint trap, until someone told me that it was /clearcheckpoint. I just kept doing CTRL+K and eventually ragequitting.

Gamemode_zombie is old as hell and is the reason why my server used to always crash, so just disable it. Any Ai_[name] addon should probably be disabled as well, since they're really outdated because we have fully supported bots now. I'd recommend using Gamemode_Slayer and Conan's Bot_Dog instead.

It's a problem on the Steam version's side, I'm also experiencing the same problem. I'm pretty sure the only choices are to wait for the problem to be fixed, or play the non-Steam version.

I think I got banned from Spacebrick's Renderman server and when I asked why in the BLG chat he said something like "you used partical bricks". I dunno if he still hosts, but if he does, don't join his server and expect anything better than a mediocre time.
