So my girlfriend "straightened" my hair (it's so curly that it started curling back up almost immediately). Took an hour and a half.  (-____-)

You don't NEED any hardware for it. Since you'll need software anyway (unless for some reason going ENTIRELY the hardware route, which would be ridiculous), then just learn whichever music software you choose to use and... make it. Make sure to just use a lot of distortion, noise, and filters. That's the basis of it, really.
