Yes i am shunning auto. Ive said this before and you still cant understand for some reason, but i dont give a stuff if joes an starfish. Thats already an established fact. But the fact that you think its okay for someone else to be an starfish back is stupid. Fighting fire with fire makes more fire. I understand that you didnt agree with what joe was doing with what you guys helped in, and i understand how stuffty that is, but the reaction you had is inexcusable. Instead of being mature and moving on you all kept stuffting on him, so here we are. The fact that he suddenly apologizes the moment the entire thing is brought to light coupled with the fact that he said the server was stuff makes me think that he both didnt really care about the server and that his apology isnt sincere (or at least is as sincere as it should be). So again, its less about the fact that you did take it without his permission and more about the mindset and attitude you had while doing it.
Hes changing the things that are there and phasing old things out. Also, Ever heard of anger? Everybody has it. Your basically shunning Auto for cussing him out over steam when JoeJack started the fire and decided to piss him off. Also he did admit what he did was wrong. And he said he apologised for it and said sorry.
He doesn't mean it LITERALLY. He means that quite a few people have done something to a certain magnitude before. I've done stupid things that have made me look like an utter starfish before. A lot of people have. So basically, this just seems like a huge "lets go stuff on this guy now, since he's done something to make him look like an starfish" bandwagon. Like I have said before, the stuff said in the chat log was a bit much. But at least he had the bravery and the deceny to apologize for it."A bit too much" is a giant understatment.
You guys can go ahead and say that hes a richard for the bad things he said. But everyone else has done this at some point. At the end of the day your having a go at him for something everyone does at some point.
I've already apologized for the most part about what I said in the chatlog. Again, it's because he's basically tried to push my buttons at this point.He's betrayed the trust of others repeatedly. I've already listed Favela as one of the ones who was basically betrayed, as, like I said, he had his name removed from the credits when he was banned despite the fact he contributed to the server. Almost the same thing with Cubular - after he left, Joe turned around and said stuff about him.
Okay the steam chat log images have nothing to do with caring about the server. Auto was upset at Joe, that didn't have any bearing on whether or not Auto cared about the server.
Giving pointers to improve and a democratic way of hosting aren't caring about the server? How?
He gets the right addons to load the map. How is that not caring exactly?
He banned Joe because Joe was being an starfish, per the usual.

Interesting thought, but he wasn't the only one to work on it. It's been worked on by Xeid, Fav(who had his name taken out of the credits when he was perma'd, by the way, and then put back in when Joe decided to let him back in), Chromo, I, (Scorpion), etc.
So we've all had investment in it. It's not his and his alone, it's the work of a group of people who are dedicated to and enjoy the server. I was just the guy who decided to rally everyone together to stand up to him.
So I should have just left it to rot? Half the admins were barely active, people were constantly complaining, and he was barely paying attention to it.Yes.
