Having two people in the same region can make the lag pretty bearable, but I recall playing Koopa (who lives in Michigan or middle Canada or something, somewhere north of IL) from Chicago and getting a ping of greater than 64, which seriously affected what I was able to do, being a fox main.It definitely impacted both of our performances negatively, with me not being able to use rest effectively, and all reads having to be hard reads. It was difficult for sure. (also south-west ontario bordering michigan)
koopascooper got an internet upgrade and gets like 55 down and like 10 up soThis still won't change my ping a whole lot. I still have to go thru the same stuffty servers to reach american ISPs.
