God what a tragedy.
It's always such an amazingly flash-back to reality when one of our own beloved forum-goers passes away. Really, it forces you to lean away from your screen, look out the window, and really grasp with a sort of renewed sobriety the mortality of everyone you will ever meet. Every single one of us, no matter how amazing, well-known and stunningly attractive (like Ike), will one day meet our maker. Some sooner than others. Ike definitely is one of those that passed before his time.
I really don't know what else to say. This is a tragedy. I do not know why Ike made the choices he did that lead to this moment while knowing wholeheartedly that there were those that loved him, and those questions came far too late and will now never be answered.
Rest in Peace, Ike.
