this is such loving bullstuff. there are alternatives, but they aren't popular
and to say that none exist becaue "no one wants it" is handicapped. There are thousands upon thousands of discontent youtube channels that would love to support a youtube alternative. We know this because they've tried before, but anytime they come along they collapse because of the tactics previously stated.
when i say "no one" i'm talking about the market. if the market doesn't have any need for a competitor a competitor won't be successful. this is basic economics

noone goes to loving vidme or whatever because most people don't see a need to. there's no incentive. you can't forcibly relocate a market because master matthew on the blockland forums can't distinguish between coercive and non-coercive monopolies

As mentioned in freeadvice.com any company that has more than 75% of market share in a general market is likely to be considered a monopoly, and any company that has a market share of that size and uses it unfairly and in an anti-competitive matter, must be considered a monopoly.
this is a completely meaningless point lol. the local gas station in a small town has a monopoly because people don't have a big need for there to be more than one. you don't get consuming is the same thing as voting
not using youtube is the same thing as not voting for it to continue
most people are voting for youtube

because a couple of 32x and 16x sounds like a waste of bricks when you could just have a 48x
