this part of the eula is really loving strange, honestly. we've had multiple people inject stuff into their blockland such as superload.dll and antidote.dll and they have not been revoked or been told that they have broken the eula. wouldn't this injection stuff be breaking term two or whatever?

They are breaking the license, but I don't think anybody wants to actually report them for it. Also Badspot is the official owner of Blockland, which means he may break his own license if he feels like it.

But in technical terms, they can get their accounts revoked. Anybody who has superload or antidote can get revoked.

except badspot is standing behind a brick wall while all the handicaps throw their stuff at each other in another room, while he sits back and makes money. why would he care unless they did something actually malicious, a few extra $5's wont hurt

also who is path

1. Badspot isn't just sitting back and letting all the money come in. He's not taking advantage of handicaps who keep buying new keys only to get them revoked. He's actually following a standard for End User License Agreements. In any game, breaking the EULA will get your license terminated indefinitely or as the license dictates it. Don't assume stuff like that.

2. I'm Path, in case you haven't figured that out yet.

Another possibility is that the forum-to-license relationship is relatively new, and resulted in the EULA being modified to fit the forum as well. Modified user licenses are in effect as soon as they are set, and does not relate to or change any events that violate the previous version of the license.

Most of those flagged users were pricks and did stupid stuff before the modification of the license. Therefore, the fate of their licenses are determined by an old document that isn't even in effect anymore.

It's likely that the 'ban on sight' is a misunderstanding of their revokes. They are probably still doing something illegal or are still in possession of a document that will result in their license being terminated. From what i've seen, most of them have been drama'd for doing something after they purchased a new key. If this is the case, it's not ban on sight; It's just them being stupid and immediately doing the same thing that got them banned in the first place.

Seems like you're the one who brought "Pirating" up. I said nothing of the sort.

so If you choose MS3D I can give you a key

Distributing keys infringes on the EULA of MS3d, as it says that licenses are non transferable. Although this is not pirating, it is considered an illegal action as explained in the License Agreement.

I've been revoked about 4-5 times, all for hacking and redistributing blhack.dll. Badspot knows my IP. he most likely knows who I am and what I've done, but cannot revoke me unless I actually violate these rules again on this purchased license.

Also, there's no such thing as handicaps, stuffposters, trollers, and idiots when dealing with legally guided transactions of currency.

All revokes due to any form of hacking/disassembly of the game files are per license. These cannot be undone in any way, and require a new license to be purchased in order to continue use of the product.

Code: [Select]
YOU MAY NOT: modify, translate, disassemble, reverse engineer, or decompile the Software.  Any derivative works become property of Blockland LLC.
Code: [Select]
5. Term.

The term of this license grant is perpetual. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by destroying all copies of the Software in your possession. Your license to use the Software will automatically terminate if you breach the terms of this Agreement.

As all mods/add-ons developed for blockland and released on the forum are considered property of Blockland, any code that violates any set or automatically understood rules defined by Badspot can be deemed dangerous and any owners or contributors of said code may have their license terminated with no advance notice.

So, with that said, any bans or revokes for the reason of owning, redistributing, contributing or submitting flagged code of any sort are justified by the terms and conditions PER LICENSE. Any bans on further purchased licenses after the time of the first termination that are NOT justified by the terms and conditions could be used as defense against the termination.

This is the basic explanation for revokes on Blockland. These are set guidelines and consequences that cannot be evaded at all and are inclusive only to the extent of the terms and conditions.

Any bans on the forum, however, are fair game, as the forum doesn't really have any set terms and conditions. Since forum accounts are now connected to purchased licenses, it can be assumed that all bans are per license as well. In simpler terms, as long as the aggressor has a lot of money, they can keep on buying as many loving keys as they want. No action or termination will ensue until these rules are again violated on the new license.

Modification Help / Re: Fallout RPG (Power Armor Beginning pictures)

I understand where you're getting the inspiration from but, from a gameplay perspective, a vehicular power armor suit won't work. It's definitely a great idea and an excellent way to balance out the benefits, but in torque talk, won't make much sense.

Anyways, it's all on you. If you can make a vehicular based power armor work well in blockland, then I stand corrected :)

Also this is a side request:

Please find a way to add the enclave advanced power armor from fallout tactics

Power armor as a vehicle? That's probably going to cause some issues later on down the road. Why not just make it an item that mounds the individual shapes to the player and overwrites the run force?

Nice job on the pip-boy. Might I suggest that instead of making it an item that you have to scroll to to view, just write a temporary command or steal a brick select bind that mounds it to the player (a bit closer than it is now).

This way the pip-boy can exist separate from the actual weapon inventory (if you plan on making one)

Modification Help / Re: [WIP Resource] DTS plugin for Blender 2.74

This is beautiful. You are beautiful.

This should cut down model work by 75% for generations to come.

Also, LOD is set to a somewhat high value upon export, most likely above 500 or something which causes the actual function of detail to be unstable and disappear at close distances. Either this or the model's vertices are being rendered at negative field of view.

3285
I believe the old Blender version with the DTS exporter was taken down. If you're most comfortable with blender, you may need to ask around a bit to find a copy with the exporter intact.

The only other official and commonly used dts exporter is found alongside Milkshape 3d v1.8.4. You can buy a registration key from Chumbalum Soft.

There are no cracked/pirated downloads available for the most recent version of MS3D, so your only option is to buy it for 25 Euros.

You don't have to make your model in MS3D. The program comes installed with over 30 different imported file formats, so you can model in whichever environment you find comfortable, and then import it into ms3d.

I hope this answered your question or was at least helpful
