If the scientist have enough primacy evidence, I would believe them.

Also math is made up.

Yes math is made up.

Ok, now take it this way:

The bible states that one pope went up into the mountains with an apple. He took a before and after picture. It turned into an orange.

A prominent scientist goes up into the mountains with an apple. He took a before and after picture. It turned into a watermelon.

Which do you believe. Not the perfect example, but as fair as I can see.

Ignorance is a virtue, according to the Church.

Faith is the concept of taking a belief without evidence or contrary to evidence, and yet it is hailed as such a great thing to have.

Have you watched any shows on evidence for faith? It seems so truthful. Under scrutiny you can see the flaws however.

Tom, take it in this way:

The bible states that if you drop an apple right in a specific place, it will float.
A group of scientists went to said place and discovered that it explodes. The scientists backed this up with enough evidence that one could easily believe it (IE: Before and after picture)

Which do you believe?

Well i voted bible, but I'm still not sure if by science you meant experiments or theories.

Lets say that string theory violated part of the bible. Which is true?

Im not saying either. All Im saying is: Which do you trust more; science or the bible?

Prove a circle is 360 degrees.
Exactly, it's something we accept.

Thats easy to prove. Give me a perfect circle and Ill prove in.

But then again there's string theory, which is not proven in the least. Thus theory is anything that explains anything. Id call evolution more of a law then anything else, in any event.

Care to share it then?

I'm not Christian, I don't believe in God. But there is not any proof there isn't one.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell%27s_teapot

Pretty much states there can be no proof there is no god, only that there is one. Thus one can do on more then to refute evidence.

What do you mean by science? Theories or proven experiments?

Also scientist can lie.

I mean generally. If there's a scientific theory that contradicts something in the bible, which will you believe?

fixed

No its not. I believe in the big bounce.

Science is different than The Bible!

Science states everything was made from the big bang!

The Bible states god made everything!

The bible never states that god made everything. The "In the beginning god created the heaven and the earth" part is all due to a big mistranslation. The correct translation goes along the lines of "In the beginning god separated the heaven and the earth."
