For back up storage would it be best to get external hard drivers, or internal hard drives, and keep them in something for storage when not being used. Also any advice on a new monitor? Is a 3D one actually worth the money? I have 680. This monitor will most likely be my primary, but I will have two running, right now I'm using my 32" TV as a second monitor, I think I just want another 24" though.

Going to be doing some senior pictures pretty soon here, so any tips? I won't have any lighting control, or a backdrop. Where should I do them?

They are very harsh in close proximity, they must be bounced if they're close. I've gotten away with setting them fairly far away, but yeah, bouncing will do fine in close proximity.
alright

those are your friend. Get 3 of them and read up on 3 point lighting. In that situation you would benefited from having another light behind the subjects on the sheet to eliminate the shadows from the keylight. Also, iron yo backdrop, nig. The only way you can get a cloth background to work is if you iron it (clothes iron) and then find some way to stretch it taut. I've never had much luck with it, so you're better suited to find a very wide open dark area, I'd say, if you want to do studio-type work for cheap.
See I had two lights like that from our shop, but they seemed a bit harsh, and I didn't aim them at the family, just bounced them. Yeah the backdrop was lazy and bad.

Installing a videocard for a friend, and we couldn't seem to find a cord to power it, it intially had integrated graphics. What do?

you should take DMT. it'll change your life.
What are the dangers of DMT? Anything serious? Also I have no idea where to get it. I could get some pills, weed, shrooms, acid, or meth, but I've never found DMT.

So my sis gave me boomers (magic mushrooms) and I finally took them. Once last night to test how I would react, (I was alone) then a higher dose this morning. I really have a different outlook on life and I enjoyed them very much. Everything about them was incredibly fascinating to me as I was tripping. I tried making a trip journal when it kicked in this morning but I had so many thoughts and I couldn't get them all on paper because there were SO many I just gave up haha
My favorite drug in the world.

So far

I'm not really a huge fan of angled pictures myself, but after experimenting I found anything other then angled revealed either to much of the dash or too much of the outside.
Yeah that probably would have ruined it.

What were you trying to do with this?
Just shooting the family of three for some pictures. My first time playing with controlled lighting, I didn't do well. My backdrop was a sheet and didn't really work. I like this picture though. Sadly I had to crop out the sides though due to the sheet not filling the frame.

Was driving around last night when it was foggy, I liked the way this turned out.

-snip-
I find the angle gross, but other than that yeah, it looks neat.

There once lived some children who had no real friends
Most suffered from aspbergers, they followed all trends
They sat on the internet every day to no end
Come night, they became acquainted with their hands.

I tried.
Brilliant
