That's called shading. Without it you would not be able to differentiate the 3D faces and it would all look like a flat yellow silhouette.

Um, it shades every angle except the chest and face.

I'd put this in help but it doesn't seem like a help issue. It seems like this is happening to everyone and no one seems to notice so I want someone's opinion.

If you look in the picture it appears the chest and face almost always appear lighter colored than hands and feet. I'm wondering has it always been like this? I thought hands and feet were the same level of brightness as the chest.

Nope but it does get more people to join because no one joins a server if it has 1 person in it.

Minecraft on the PS3 made 1million sales in a matter of days.

Blockland hasn't reached 100,000 in over 6 years and steam isn't going to help make it anymore popular. Don't forget, Minecraft never was released on steam to begin with. Steam is just going to help add more customers.

That's fine with me.

I prefer people only joining if they download textures anyways. I have a lot of custom prints and other things that would ruin my builds if they weren't enabled.


Yes, it's possible to kick someone out if they don't have an option enabled.

Apparently badspot wont allow steam workshop on blockland because people could upload viruses onto it and no one would know.

I recall Badspot saying he would remove the add-on features anyways, he's not going to but he said he'd like to. So be lucky we do have what we have.
