I don't really know anything about them and I've fiddled with them before. Light fiddling sure, but I've handled them.  

regardless of whether a PSU is probabilistically likely to kill you, discharging one of its capacitors into your finger will hurt badly and probably leave a considerable burn.

Yes, I said this early on.

Oh, mb. He linked to the job post. I'll readily admit that my knowledge of electricity is pretty lacking, but I'm gonna stick to my guns on what I said. The kid must have had a weak heart or some other issue that would weaken his ability to take a shock like that.

I understand you're saying that I used a hugely different example to point out that it wasn't dangerous, but the point I was trying to make is that people have survived much harsher shocks and do it more regularly than people getting killed by a power supply. It kinda went with my comment on human resilience.

Please explain. I honestly feel like I'm doing decent work at the agency, and all of my jobs have been face to face customer centric stuff.

In 13 I was working 60 hours a week at like 14.50 an hour so I can see how I would rationalize it. I don't really buy things all that often so I've always had a decent chunk to blow on impulse purchases like that. Saturday I impulse bought a 980 ti so I can mod fallout 4 to death.

Tbh I've been a lot of people on the forums. Kinda like how girls have a different attitude or style every other week at school. Most people dislike me because of the Aeris account and what followed it, but I've had more than a couple accounts before and after it that got along well with everyone.

forget it, I cut the cables of the fan and screwed another one on the outside. I'll just leave this unlocked so you guys can keep arguing whether capacitors can kill a human bean or not.

You probably should have just unplugged it if possible. What are you gonna do if it turns out you needed the fan after all?

That's cool, never knew it had an inner connector.

Well aren't you a cold reader. Must run in your family along with severe autism.

I mean I work with people who've had catastrophic losses for an insurance company and still have one of the highest customer satisfaction rates in my region for the job, but that's cool. It's also not like all the jobs I've ever done have required me to have some serious social graces and unreal levels of patience or anything either.

But that's cool, you do you I guess.

Lmfao are you really upset? I already said that yes it would cause serious damage, but it should not kill the average human. Maybe it's because my line of work, but I know for a fact that people are more resilient than you all seem to think.
