My god (no pun intended) IBanZ! I've been reading some of the thing's he's been saying, and all I can say is this:

Do you realize that what you're saying can't be proven? You continually discredit anything anyone suggests in such a harsh term!  Did it ever occur to you that there is possibility? Did it ever occur to you that for all we know there just may be that 'God' person, and though heaven and hell might not exist (they may do), there are other alternatives? But no, you constantly come in with this emo-atheist perspective all whiny: "why can't you guys just grasp the fact that there's nothing after death" oh well boo-hoo tickle me emo, go listen to some MCR. Now I my self am an agnostic, hell you could even go so far as say an atheist, but whether or not I believe in God is one thing, the fact that I like to open my horizons a little at the chance of something better than just 'death' is not only a comforting thing, but because it's pretty neat to listen to others opinions and theories. But you and your close minded bitching are constantly attacking people's idea's. Ok, we've heard what you have to say, but that doesn't mean that's the only thing there is about it. Now why don't you just shut the forget up and go cut yourself somewhere else. You're idea has been said, we thank you for it, now leave.   

You're being idiotic.  You are criticizing someone for something and turning around and doing it yourself and they very fact that because he is taking a logical standpoint on the matter makes him "emo" is disgusting.  It was a little pompous to ask why everyone couldn't grasp it, but your retort was unnecessary.  Also, you are either agnostic or atheist, there is no gray area.

Now, aside from that and more on topic, when I am thinking or someone is asking me about what I believe, it makes sense to me that it would be just like before you were born and Muzzle Fever put it well (which was completely skipped over) when he said that you are not going to be aware that you're dead anyways.  You won't exist.

And a side note, everyone who thinks they are an atheist and doesn't know anything about religion is just another punk kid.  You have to know what you don't believe in to hold any credence in what you are talking about.  This isn't aimed at anyone, I just thought I should throw it out there for any of the kids who claim to be an atheist because of the reasons Swholli listed (emo music, emo lifestyle, etc)  If you are an atheist simply because you are an emo or some other stupid stuff, then you really need to take a look at your life and realize how much of a jackass you are.  Atheism takes serious thought and dedication to be taken seriously by other people and it is little emo richardheads that ruin it for the rest of us.  /soapbox

I completely agree with IbanZ on everything that he said.  If he didn't post it first, I would have said nearly the exact same things.

And JDofPivot, you sound like one of those people that are Atheist because it's "cool".  You do not have nearly enough life experience by the time you reach the 3rd grade to make a rational decision and to put the amount of thought it would take to realize who you really are and how you really perceive things.
