Off Topic / Re: Is it normal to feel "empty" inside?
« on: December 04, 2015, 02:24:16 AM »
I feel like I'm in the minority on this, but yes. Not necessarily the minority on 'yes' or 'no,' but the minority on the 'why' of it.

In today's society it's becoming way too easy to waste your life. You can sit around, watch youtube videos and browse the internet, and basically just survive as long as you go to some boring grind of a job everyday or even just take up some welfare depending on your situation.

Anybody in that situation would feel empty. That's why it helps to be productive somehow. Whether it's self-improvement, making something creatively, teaching yourself some topic or skill, help people, do something. And it sucks because a lot of time it just feels like work, but that's what it is a lot of the time. You need to exercise some discipline occasionally if you want to feel real satisfaction in what you're doing.

Even then though, a lot of people can feel really empty. Sometimes it can be a result of clinical depression, loneliness, or other miscellaneous feelings and conditions. Personally, I've invested a lot of my life into focusing on God, so I'd be inclined to think that a lot of people might feel empty because I doubt one can truly live life to the fullest without a relationship with God. But that's just my belief. Needless to say, 95% of the internet would disagree with me on that.

talent is overrated.
So. Much. This.

There's a lot of talented people I know, but they're going to go absolutely nowhere because they lack discipline. They're apathetic. They rely on motivation to do stuff and get things done. Anyone who trains themselves to have discipline can go above and beyond anything that someone with natural talent can do if that person doesn't work just as hard.

Used to do the top 4s. But then people kept somehow mistaking perfect 4s for nines. Somewhere along the line I swapped.

Don't understand why nobody writes it like that when like- every font in existence does it that way.

what are craigs actions
In this scenario, he's historically well known for being a sort of famous scientist. What happened to him is unknown- not necessarily unknown to historians or anything, just to me. He was also an inventor of sorts, having made both a few interdimensional portals and a method for time travel. He did some other stuff but that's his most successful work

those were the days

I was going to say that all but one of these actually worked as legit answers, but then I realized that this basically describes Jesus. So that works too.

This is a pretty good answer, but the only issue with this is that there are a few specifics about Craig that I am given. His eyes are depicted as kind of purplish once, and kind of yellowish another time. Yellow and purple are kind of hard to mistake for one another, unless there's some kinda colorblindness that makes purple look yellow or vice versa. It also shows up as black once, but that could just be laziness of the illustrator. Can't give a lot of details out, but if you can't tell- this isn't quite the normal, real world dude, lol

Pretty much why lucid dreaming sounds so cool to me. It's like extra time to think and stuff without environmental distractions

and I can do magical stuff

or something like that. As you can tell I'm extremely educated on the topic of lucid dreaming
