Lol wrong config. Go to your Blockland directory and navigate to the config/client/prefs.cs file, using any basic text editing software open it up and find $pref::Video::resolution and set it to something like $pref::Video::resolution = "1280 600 32 60";
Also find and change $pref::Video::fullScreen = "0";

After doing so, if the problem persists please paste both this configuration file as well as a console.log please.

The fullscreen thing worked! Thanks mate. All good.

Apologies for the delay. I've done everything you suggested. I've checked the drivers, dropped the resolution, and changed to windowed mode. All of which lead to nothing.

First off, I'd like to say I'm on a mac, just to avoid further confusion. So. Whenever I start BL on Steam, the icon shows up in the dock. But after a couple seconds, it vanishes without opening any windows. I've uninstalled and re-installed multiple times. At this point, I'm clueless.

That if I remember correctly is buggy as heck, I am working on a fixed up version with a gui to set the controls.
But I've been busy lately and probably will continue to be for awhile since I am going to be moving soon.
I honestly don't see why people want to play with controllers so badly.
It's annoying and the controls are only good with guns, even then it sucked.
It was decent with speedkarting but you can do so much better with the keyboard.
But if I had to estimate how long it will take I'd say it would be about a week depending on how fast I pack up.

Also a note, the external software for remapping the keys won't do any good if you have a controller with an brown townog stick, if you want to use it.

Ya you're right. I just wanted to see how it was to use a gamepad.

just try to actually think and figure it out, it's really not hard

It's posts like these that really frustrate me. You're telling me to figure it out myself, but that is countering what this is made for. I don't know how to do this. I have no idea how to do any of this stuff. I have absolutely no experience on doing this sort of stuff. so either somebody would kindly give me an understandable tutorial for a non-programmer like me, or I lock this topic because I can't get any decent help. >:(

So basically, you're saying that all I have to do is run Xpadder and bada bing bada boom, all done? It automatically becomes compatible with all the Blockland controls? If not, please give actual help instead of just saying it's easy.

onBotSpawn>Bot>setTeam>Enemy . and in the empty space put a team name. If you don't want the bots to attack eachother, make all the bots on the same team. Hope this helps! :)
