Didn't really elaborate very well myself in my answer either so don't worry. I didn't see synergy.exe with Blockland open or with it closed.

Did go through the tutorial the first time I ever played, but not recently as I can't actually do anything ingame yet because of my camera spazzing out like in the help thread up there ^.
As far as acting like an idiot, I'll try not to, lol.
I call ARG.

I'm aware what an alt is (and I'm not one, by the way..), but what on earth is ARG? lol

Bogstandard Dell mouse that came with my system (Dell XPS 8500 running Windows 8) because I'm a cheapass.

I bought it and played it once or twice for a small, insignificant period a very long time ago. Not sure how long, my memory is poor.
Any tips for a pretty much complete newb? I've unfortunately already had to post on a help topic http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=240573.0 about what I think is a camera issue but that's OT (I'm looking at this as if that will be resolved soon).
Any links to useful stuff would be appreciated. I saw the building side of the game on some videos before I first bought the game and thought it looked fun, so I'd like to get into that when my game is actually playable.

No, this is happening to me as well.
It happens in any server or map that's offline.
Our characters are perpetually spinning whilst facing the sky. Spamming mouse movements in third person shows that I have actually spawned and can move around, just my camera view is constantly spinning, preventing gameplay.
Any tips?
