I don't care.
Harassment will not be tolerated.
And neither narcissism, nor slander, strawmanning, or anything else thinkable that is synonymous to that.
And also not hypocrisy.

Well, I've learned something.
The OT boards are the most informal places on the face of the Earth, full of many hostile people who will say colorful things.

This is exactly the kind of thing I can't stand.
There's nothing wrong with starting new topic threads.
And if I could, I would be willing to censor anyone who stands in my way.

If I or someone else am new on a forum or board like this (I'm not actually that new here, I know some things about Blockland and I have custom addons so I'm not some kind of disconnected person), not under any circumstance should I or them receive criticism or harassment just because they are not adapted to the ape-like weird customs the Off Topic section may have, or because they have a low amount of posts, or because they just don't know much about forums or computers in general.
Obviously, I'm not computer-or-forum-board-illiterate. Because I will inform in advance that I have been using computers for years.
And should someone be bullied for being new, shall the harasser receive their consequence.
It's not fair.

Mmmmm'kay?

Well, you're here, which means you can answer my question.

Why am I not getting replies? This is one of the newer threads.

So I'm thinking the game only works or works best with Ethernet cables when connecting to any server.
I already tried that and it didn't work, because I have no idea what my modem password is.
So because my internet connection is wireless, what are best settings in the Network tab, in Options, in Blockland, to use?
My operating system is Windows 7 and my current speed is 65.0 Mpbs.

I'm wondering just how specific I have to be about my connection speed and my computer's specifications so I can get a better answer.

Ok, so if I open up the game at Point A, one IP address, and leave it there, then go to Point B, a different IP address, open up the game there, get the error, close the game, and return to Point A, what will happen then?

I think I'll be installing Blockland Portable the next time I ever install it.
I'm just hoping this theory works for me if it works for you.

Ok, I understand.
But if I want to play the game at a different location than my usual network, will the game give me the error, even though it's me who is using a different IP?

I looked at the FAQs (of the Blockland site, not forums) and found out that you'll get an "Authentication Failed" error if you are accessing your key from a different IP address.

But if I play on a different computer in the same network, does that mean I'm using the same IP address and nothing else will change?

This happens with all servers.
And the error message is (verbatim):
Quote
Windows Firewall can't change some of your settings.
Error code 0x80070433
