If you can find a server, I would welcome it wholeheartedly.

It isn't really worth it at this point. I am moving this summer, getting a new provider would be an unnecessary hassle

Yes, but they block my access to my router settings. I can't forward ports or change NAT types. Basically multiplayer gaming is very difficult.

Can't. I don't have access to my router's settings. I had the same problems with NAT types.
If anyone is kind enough to allow me use of their server, that would be much appreciated. My paypal is currently giving me problems so I can't rent

All right, it looks like most can't connect to my server. If anyone can it would be good to know. I do not have access to my router's settings (that's controlled by an evil company known as PCCW) so if you can't get in now, it's a safe bet you won't be able to for some time.

It's okay, I thought that might be the case

General Discussion / Testing server events [gun game]

I'm currently trying to make a gun game server using VCE, minigame events and possibly brick possession events. Right now I just need a few people to test it out. Due to my location the server is up primarily in the morning for those of you in north america. I hope to see a few of you show up and help me work the kinks out of this. My BLF username is the same as my in game name, so look for my server. It should be called "gun game testing"

For those who don't know, Gungame is a gamemode where all players start off with a weak starting weapon. Each kill brings them up a level, granting a new (and in most cases more powerful) gun. The first player to reach 25 kills wins. [please note this is just a test at this point, and knifing still grants the kill, and does not demote the other player]
The weapons used are T+T

*notice*
It seems my server isn't working, and it's not something I can fix. If someone wouldn't mind hosting this for me I would be greatful. send a message or leave a comment, I'll let you know what mods you need. All mods can be downloaded right from RTB.
basically I just want a fun server that is a balanced shooter with a less used system

Help / HELP! hosting problems!
« on: September 05, 2011, 08:43:34 PM »
I have been trying to host for some time now, and only recently was I successful. I ran into a massive problem though: Dedicated or not, my server ALWAYS crashes the second anyone leaves. What could be going wrong?
Also, I'm on a mac, if that changes anything...
