Help / Blockland could not write to key.dat file. Pls Help!

Ive only just reinstalled Blockland after roughly 2 years of not playing and I needed to insert my BL key so I can log into my account. But soon as I click "Unlock" an error message stating: "Blockland could not write to key.dat file. This can be caused by running the game from a read-only directory or CD-ROM." Idk what to do nor am I good with this kinda thing but ill to comply with any help given! Any help would be appreciated!
