Man! I was hoping that v15 wouldn't need Rosetta but no, now it doesent even work on tiger all together.  It better work on my windows laptop (when It comes back from the Geek Squad that is).  Its like v14 wasn't bad enough.

It is really strange because all of my friends who have macs(including me) were having this problem but all of my friends with Windows are not having this trouble...I sense a conspiracy against macs! *cough Ephialtes:3 cough*

Yea, the auto update has never worked for me on my mac.

Have no fear, I had the same problem.  To fix it, right click the program itself, select "Get Info" and there should be a check box that says "Open using Rosetta."  Click it so its checked.  Now close the window and open blockland.  hopefully, is should now work.

The script should open when you double click it, and it might ask you if you want to run it, (say yes) then it should do its stuff and install the exporter.

You might want to mention what kind of operating system you have on your next post if you are still having trouble.

When you download the Exporter, ("Blender_DTloveporter_0964.zip") if you are using a mac or a windows, just open it and it should extract it's self.  If you are using a linux, you might have to download stuffit expander or some other .zip extractor. (I may be wrong. It might come with its own extractor too)  When its extracted, if mac, run the script titled "MacInstaller(source).scpt"  If windows, run "WindowsInstallScript.js" script. If linux, run "LinuxInstallScript.sh" script.  The scripts should should place the files in the appropriate places for blender. I hope this helped.

Help / Simple add-on mods are not appearing.

I've been trying to do some simple addon mods like changing different sounds, changing the .dts file to ones I've modled and things like that. (with out playing with the script) But when I re-compress them and put them back into the addons folder, they don't show up on the check list.  I should tell you that I have a mac and can't edit .zip files with out extracting them first.  I've also tryed extracting addons then compressing them, with out editing them, and they don't work either.  I think it could be something to do with the way I compress them.  (I typically do it with stuffit and also by right clicking it)
any suggestions?

Last time I tried running blockland with wine it worked, but it was very laggy.  I haven't tried single player

I have a mac, (because they are awesome) but haven't had this problem. I would first try reinstalling the program and/or check earlier versions to see if its something to do with the latest version.  For instance, v14 is giving me a handful of problems that v13 had none of.

AND I hope people would stop having MAC vs WINDOWS wars on this topic.

I've been getting the same problem, with my V13 backup and V14.

Do any of you have parental controls enabled on your computers?

No I don't think so, (Just checked) I just started having problems with v14. v13 was perfectly fine (I could host servers and every thing)

This is the exact same thing that is happening to me! It just closes automatically after bouncing and doesn't even show an error message.  I tried reinstalling it (.zip + .dmg) but it still doesn't work! (so pissed) My mac I got last year and is an imac not ibook or laptop

Any help would be appreciated

funny thing is that we have 6 comuters and 5/6 are macs and 0 dells/windows

Im also probably one of the only people who found out how to open up ports for internet games on mac. (it was hard)
