General Discussion / Did you know this was possible?
« on: June 03, 2017, 10:10:33 AM »
I just opened up two blockland windows, created a server on one, and allowed the other to connect to the server. It's Probably been done before, I just wanted to see if it was possible.

Well, I was able to get a someone to join my server, though the open port checking tool says port 28000 is closed. Oh well, at least it works now.

In the later part of yesterday, for what ever reason, these ports stopped working. And I'm pretty sure the only reason it wasn't working was because I had my Ethernet cord connected in the wrong spot.

I also get this message:

ERROR: WebCom_PostServer() - mission is not running

But when I looked up what it was, I heard that it didn't do anything.

Apparently my internet is crap. I've been on it for at least 10 minutes and the console is just now saying 'Posting to master server'.

Is there a way to tell if my game is completely working, other than if players join the game? If not, can someone attempt to join my game to see if it works?

I had originally put the files into the C drive, and then tried to put it into the program files. But putting it into documents worked. Thanks!

Help / Add-Ons file not appearing.
« on: April 15, 2017, 09:58:25 AM »
I want to attempt to make add-ons, but the file doesn't appear in my blockland folder. I know it exist, as I can find the default add-ons if I start a custom game. All that I see is the Blockland launcher, a dll file and an uninstall tool.
