I think I'm around a 6 or a 9

to Dy-mar- Definitely a solid 4, your space station needed an exterior, from the outside, it reminded me of looking at a video game world in noclipping mode, the other builds you posted are very well done however.

I'd say the base is really cool, but the top looks way too tall; great job though!

but no in all honesty it's pretty crappy and structurally unsound

no building like that could exist in real life, and it just looks crappy in general because of it

If I can be a mechanical engineering major and not give a damn about the solidity of a virtual model, then by gum so can the rest of the world.  Seriously though, I do appreciate constructive criticism, and hopefully I'll open this up as a server sometime soon!

Here's a building I was working on for a little while.  I'll admit to using the duplicator for part of the build but darn it all it was worth retaining a part of my social life.  ;)  If there's enough interest, I'll open up a server sometime in the future for people to build in the skyscraper.  The main floors (nineteen of them) and the four corner towers will be first come first serve.  Ultimately, I hope to have several buildings for use, but that depends on how fast I lose interest in the whole thing.

slate save?

Sorry, forgot to mention...

You'll need the Pluto map and the "thick fog" add-on.

Alright, here's the save file.  If you modify it in any way, please post a pic on this thread, I'd love to see your take on it!

Looks nice but If you really take the build apart in your mind, It's pretty simple, It's like one of those awesome builds you just keep adding on to with ramps and such.

I like to call it the "Don't know what the %@#$ I'm makin' here" method.  ;)

very cool, the use of bricks that are glowing and aren't glowing makes it look like its they're windows.
So from far away it looks like a sci fi building

Thanks!  I spray painted the windows blue, then with the glow FX, then I put a blue light on them.  That's how I got the two-tone color.

Thanks to Twix for the great Map!  Here's a link to a website on how to build a sphere:

that's really cool, where did you get the door add-ons?  I've been looking everywhere for those.

I used 1x1s because I was planning on doing stained glass windows, then I realized I was too lazy to do that.
