Hey Blockers.

After a while i found here some time;).
Because of my new carreer i stopped blockland yet again.
But as thanks to the many people who helped and still the potential to make a great product of this build. it can live on in new hands:). please respect the credits of the builders who left there ID's and develop the city in a rpg, something new our what ever you can develop it in:). Enjoy it.

Because it was runned from a dedicated i lost the last few days of building thanks to crash. enjoy this file en this ammazing game. Maby ill be back yet again someday;).

well i changed reworked a part of the mountains so they fitted the style like around the lake. it gave a less messed up look. A city needs power. so i started some power lines and a dam with a hydro plant.

New powerlines to the plant! WIP

Does look very spammy, I would learn from my past mistakes:
Don't go all out with detail.
Keep most of it simple, maybe the tree bricks instead of ALL giant detailed willows.
Keep some good detail, get rid of some unwanted detail.

A few things about this city. it main reason of construction is the overall city look not a smooth RPG our so(like there aint enough of those). Thats why i choosse this. if you havent go a good hardware system you just lower your drawingdistance. if your walking around you can see the street were you are in without lag.

About the event quotes etc.
I gonna reset the server complete upcomming week. because it takes atleast 30minuts to load the save and im working from a other pc the update the server it aint a 5minut job. I can tell you guys that the server settings will be refreshed after a nice rebooth.

About the spammy looks in a few spots. im working on it i cant be everywere. the square with the buildings like the bank hotel BG building are almost complete my design it work out fine. some other stuff is builded by other people i gonna edit delete our rebuild stuff to gave the smooth overall look and im trying to lower the amount of bricks as long it doesnt lower the build quality, next week screens about it!

well now i gonna sleep I have some important work tomorrow so i aint gonna build.

thanks for the birdseye view. i was on the server but every server i go on i lag so i wasn't there for long. it looks really epic and the only comment i had was there should be taller buildings and some of the terrain was(not finish maybe) kinda poor. on the upper right hand corner the grey i dont know mountain? looks out of place with the surounding area

Thanks for the tips;).
We build and rebuild a lot. we need find a balance in everything, the mountains there and the part next to it is quit out of line in compare to the rest of the surroundings. you will see soon a update;)
I think i gonna put normal surrounding like the left side with a water power plant:)

it looks nice could we have birds eye view tho?

here you have it;). but thanks to some black/grey rooftops it aint a good map of town. just join the server and fly around for the best vieuws. our come and take a look a in the townhall, we have a minutere town as map builded inside it.



Well its 06:30 in the morning here in the netherlands;), just came back out of town. i hear some birds. its really time to catch some sleep. back on topic in a houre our 8!

Builders Generation History

The Clan has a history as a RTB 1.04x clan around 2006. It base was high quality creative builders with expierence. The clan members were a foundation of builders who were sick of there big clans were quality dropped because lots of people could get in. The BG concept was simple. We had no ranks our leader every member had the same powers and it was all about cooperation and voting. when Retail came out the RTB community slowly died and the BG members slowly started to build less. This was the end of BG for 1,5year.

BG Today
The BG concept is still alive! xtr0 ann me (Tuna) restarted BG in 2008. After a break we restarted BG again. for a month we kept our old rules. High standerds and only 1 clan allowed. We noticed times had change. instead of 1 clan people joined 2 sometimes 10, also there wasnt anymore a harcore small community but a new fresh and growing community with all sort of players. This is were we modified our idea's to today standerds. Everyone is welcome if we see something in a person. We look for expierence buildes, Creative builders but also builders with talent. We do not watch BLID's. Some people with some help of the clan builded in a month time better then others who are building for 2 years!
Our great tallent and now veteran builder XsummonerX and me (Tuna) are the base figures of BG today. our Memberlist has al sort of BLID's, but person by person unique builders.

The rules today are very simple. there are 2 ways to join us. Show us some of of your work our build something on our server. Do we see you have the skills and attituded we are looking for you are in our community. The other way is show your face often in our server and we take notice of you. Are you a great help our do we see great improvement our talent we could invite you to our clan.

Looks like some new players have begun to kick ass at building! :D

You right for sure;).

Im a bit of the old generation players you know it. Blockland 0002 > BLM > Vanilla > RTB 1.02/1.045 > Retail (BLID 1878) (took me a long time to say the good old RTB with EW etc goodby) > RTB 2.x

But the most builders in the BG clan are 6k 7k BLID's some lower. We do not look at BLID's. if we see good progress, tallent build skills our creativity you stand a good change to join!

Haha you are correct. some parts mainly build by the same players have a style so it looks more together.
some areas are a cooperation of different build of different players moved in the city. that gives a bit a busy look. but well you can see it like a real city. it contains many different styles and time periods;)

Hey,

its been already 4months ago that i started with xtr0 this project. Soon XsummonerX joined me while xtr0 stopped because of his study and party's was taken to much time.
I restarted Builders Generation our old RTB 1.03/1.045.
Many people joined BG and many public builders started to help on this project.
Everyone can always watch it in the 24/7 [BG] server. (Since the new updates the server name starts with Tuna's instead of [BG] you can also find the server in the top if you filter on bricks in the server)

On or server we noticed that someone has put in a endless spam. So we look in the script to find out. we found the ip 71.105.158.5. After a good search in our archive we found the owners name (IM) Brom. hes a (un)active member of this forum under the name Brom. If he joins your server ban him right away or all your work till your last save is gone
so save also intime if he joins.

People who dont believe me i can send picuters of or server -_-' 1 is already posted bij xtro.

IM clan please kick him out of your clan. he give the clan a bad name.

For the rtb crew. this is what we found 1000 times in our script. instead of normal scales like 1 6 5 or 1 1 1 or 1 2 1. we found this. maby you can use it for a new patch or 1.05 to help this out of the world:
