Help / Blockland won't save my preferences...

So, I got a new computer and downloaded BL. Everytime I start it up, though, I get this message:

"Blockland could not save your preferences.

This can be caused by running the game from a read-only directory or CD-ROM."

How do I fix this?

I need serious help eventing for my failing deathrun...
it's not finshed, i have several ideas, but my eventing skills SUCK!

My spawnpoints dont work and nobody takes damage.
