Sounds fun, I don't have much time right now but let me know if you'd like any of your old parks, my castle ride, etc

Also I'd recommend searching for someone to improve the coaster bots- 90 degree turns are super disorienting.

Yeah I agree, I've been steering away from train mod. And focusing on bots controlling vehicles. Seems to work pretty well. And im not getting issues I used to when the bots would just stop on track.

Hello friends,

Some of you have been on my amusement park server before. Well recently my saves have been corrupted. Which is kind of a bummer. However this gives me a fresh start to make a new park. Which will be appropriately named JarJarLand.

About 90% of my original park was made by me because I am not one to really ask for help with builds. But this time I want it to be different. I would love to have a team to work with me to build something truly incredible. I know what worked really well in my old parks and what didn't work very well at all.

Some thing's I want to aim for in this new park include.

Immersive worlds. I want every land that you step into, in the new park to transform you to whatever world your stepping into, One disadvantage we have to real theme parks is we don't get the real thrill out of a ride. Because were just blockheads. So what needs to be done is overwhelm the senses we actually have input in. (Sight, and Sound).

Interactive Experience One thing that all theme park's are doing now is making guest interaction the number one priority. That is something I lacked in JarJar world that I really want to improve on here. I want guest's to feel that they are helping contribute to the story somehow.

Quality not quantity A bad habit I had with JarJarWorld was rushing to get a ride complete and having it look half ass'd. I want all of these rides to look like they would belong in Disneyland.

Different approach on game play of park In Jarjarworld you would spawn at the resort hotel and take a tram to either one of the 3 parks (Jarjarworld, Kawaii, or Richytown). You would spawn as a guest. walk around the park ride the rides you could find. then leave the server and probably never come back because you have been there and done that. What I want to try in this new park is redo how the rides work. Include workers into this game. I would like to have ride operators when possible. And if one is not available simply have the ride run itself (like in old park.) This would include a training that people would go through before being able to work. Also have people who work in the food area's. incorporate a hunger system. Because everyone knows that theme park food is the best. Include a money system. Include lodging experience.

Help Wanted

So here is where I would need some help. I need some builders. You don't need to know anything on how to actually create working rides. Because that could all be taught. I would like some people to help me with the theme of the build. Help create these immersive worlds. I would like some modelers to maybe create new roller coaster designs, or car designs for dark rides. I would like to have people who are good with decals to help us create uniforms, and souvenir shirts. If you are interested at all please PM me, and we can talk some more.

Please let me know if you have any feedback if you have visited JarJarworld. let me know what you would like to see again, And what you wouldn't want to see again.

Oh and side note the very popular bot Magic Show will return to this park.

Help / Bricks not loading all the way.

Hello Friends,

I am having an issue with 2 of my saves. For some reason only half the save will load and it will quit loading bricks. I always save a primary and a backup in my folder and both are doing the same. Then a friend came on my server and tried loading his save but had the same problem. Here is the console log. In the past I have always /clearbots and /clearvehicles because I had over 110 bots. But for some reason now It's giving me issues.

here is my take on this situation.

Blockland was most popular from 2008-2012. Much of these people 11-14 year olds. Fast forward to 2017 these kids are now graduating high school/ starting college. Unfortunately when this happens college/ real world life comes in and takes away free time that one would spend playing games. Or simply outgrowing the game.

This game has been part of my life and i'm sure all of your guy's life for YEARS. We get new players on this game and we don't welcome them in warmly. We aren't letting the new student in the school sit at the lunch table with us.

I F***ing love Blockland, and its this community that keeps it alive. We need to help market this game. Help get new blood in here so maybe Eric Hartman shows interest in this again. Or help get fund's to start a new Blockland 2.0

Eric is one guy. And he has accomplished something quite frankly amazing. This indie game has lasted 10 years. Look at other big box studios that can't even get life out of a game for 1 year. This is one of the most ultimate sandbox games. You could literally be killing each other, or building a city, or playing family feud, or checking out some dude's awesome amusement park ;) that's the beauty of this game you can do whatever the hell you want. We need to come together. Help get this thing noticed again. Get rid of the bad press on youtube. And show people why this game has lasted as long as it has. I dont know about you but I would be devastated if this game died.

Hey Everyone, I need help. Im designing a new ride that will interact with music. The idea is to have 3 different songs for the ride that can happen randomly whenever you ride. Thing is I have so many song's I would like to use so im going to put a poll up to help determine.

for bitmaps you must have the full file location, otherwise it'll do this: Blockland//images/map.png



What are you using to edit the code?

I recommend sublime text, it's very neat and you can have custom syntaxes.



I use notepad++

So here is the new code I have.

You Are Invited!!!

You are invited to the start of our Summer of Decades Celebration. Starting this Friday (4/16) the park's will be decked out by different decade era's.
60's - York Theater
70's - Space Voyage
80's - Rock City Stage
90's - Mayan Adventure
00's - The new Tron Land.

This Friday we are launching this summer long event. with a summer kick off party. We will have event's going on around the park. And we will light up the sky with the brand new Decades Firework show.

The party will start Friday morning and the Firework show will premier at the following times

6:00 - PDT
7:00 - MDT
8:00 - CDT
9:00 - EDT




Mark it on your calendar's it's a party you wont want to miss.
